He also spilt blood for the cause putting his head in where it hurts, may not be the best player in the pack, but is brave and always gives his all, that is all we ask.

I was joking, he is a ok player good back up for Fox.

I was at the game and think he was given a very difficult game by King and their overlapping full back. But done very well to deal with the threat without enough support from Lallana. Think it may have been precautionary to stop him getting an injury / sent off.

Harding is definitely not a **** player. HE is most defintely a different player. My preferred left back to boot however we are all allowed differing views on this.

If nothing else it's great to have one left back for charging onward with the ball and feet and one that can deliver long balls. Otions. that is what the bench and squad are all about. Benches are only used to rest players when a game is won. Prior to a game being won or needing to get back into a game a different option is vital.

I agree, although I do prefer Fox.

We have as you say, a different type for each full-back position.

Cross from deep:

Fox & Butterfield

Run and Overlap:

Harding & Richardson

It's good to have!

Harding gets too much stick. With the exception of one game where he was out of position, he has done a job when called upon. Fox is first choice, Harding is useful cover and a different option. He can also play left midfield if we were tying a game up for last 15 minutes
