If we can get through next weekend with the positions the same, it might just give them a bit more of a push with the extra game we will have. Who knows
I reckon dropping into the drop zone might actually give them a kick up the ass. Not being in the relegation zone means that the real threat of relegation might not have dawned on the players.
Burnley is make or break. If we lose we will go down. Simple really. The only thing keeping me going at the minute is knowing that QPR have played one more game than us. They could easily finish bottom given Burnley have a game in hand on them but even more worrying is that Leicester have 2 games in hand on QPR and they're only a few points behind us. I still think the bottom 3 now will go down.
Stat: We haven't beaten any of the other teams who have City in their name this season. (Leicester, Manchester, Swansea and Stoke) Good job we don't have any more to play.
Even if they were scoring, I think QPR's run was harder than ours (as is West Brom's if they're sucked back in). Sunderland's ain't much easier either. Leicester and Burnley have a run of games which can get them out of it.
I agree with this but not sure if it's my head or my heart. If we drop into the bottom 3 (which I think we will at some point) and there isn't a response. We've no chance.
I'd rather drop in now and jolt them into action than coast along in 17th until final day and drop in with a loss to United which relegates us.
Another worry of mine. The only time we're in the bottom 3 is after the Man United game which is a strong possibility.
