Erm no, according to Terry, he thought that Anton had just accused him of calling Anton a "****ing black ****". Honestly did you just hear about this? It has been discussed to death for almost a year now, go read up on it then come back.
How about we get that into context shall we? During Mr Terry's testimony in Westminster Magistrates Court, he said that as the pair traded insults, he heard Mr Ferdinand using this racist phrase. Mr Terry told the court he thought Mr Ferdinand was accusing him of using the phrase. "I was very angry and I was upset. I replied 'a black ****, you ****ing knobhead'".
The problem Watford_R is that it's not one man's word against another, we only have Terry's word as Ferdinand claimed not to have heard anything. It was only after seeing the youtube video that Ferdinand believed that Terry had used racist language. At the moment of the actual incident Ferdinand didn't hear Terry say anything and the video evidence had no sound and words are meant to be heard, not read. So there were no witnesses (other than Terry) and no audio evidence. Those "professional lip readers" need to get a real job as the person who reported it to the Police done as good a job as they did (who by the way for some unknown reason didn't have to give evidence). With such little evidence it is ridiculous that such a thing could even come to trial, but those clowns at the CPS love to waste everyone's time, effort and money it seems.
I'm still scratching my head as to how this ended up in court. I mean, could we possible sink any lower as a society to get our priorities so out of whack?
Which of course even the judge disagreed with. Why would Ferdinand tell Terry everything was ok after the game if he heard the words at the time?
Sadly mate, it comes down to one mans word against another and when you look at JT's past his comments ahve no credability what-so-ever..just ask his wife...? His family dont exactly stand up as good moral people and he aint exactly knee deep in O-levels.. Anton may be brother to rio, but his family have a good rep and apart from very minor issues, he's kept himself out of trouble. add to that the fact that t\Terry called a "serial adulterer" as a character reference (Cole0 and you would have to go against the case for JT if you were a neutral. Like i posted on your forum, if terry had put his hands up appologised, made soe comment about it being in the heat of battle blah blah accepted it should never have been said, the whole show would have been over long agao.. he wouldnt have split the England camp, got the England manager sacked, divided supporters and brought the amount of hatred for CFC that he has by denying it. And he still hasnt appologised for any of that. He's just happy (dumb) doing what JT thinks is right. Its clear to anyone with an open mind and willingness to listen that what he said was in the spur of the moment. I donth think he's a racist "as such, but they way he has gone about this has made people think negatively of him and your team. For the record, we dont need this s**t either. Most of us could not care less about CFC and yes, we dont like you but we also accept you are years ahead of us..AT THE MOMENT! We have our own plan and it wont be too long before we are competing on a level playing field, so the fact that CFC fans think they have a major part in our lives is very much deluded and quite frankly obnoxious. Nah but Doreen Lawrence did which is why she was at the court case. The Ferdinand family would never use someone like her to score points so there canlt be any reason she was there - can there?

It was thrown out of a LAW court, because correctly....you are innocent until proven guilty. And since no-one could prove EXACTLY what John Terry said and in response to what EXACTLY...He was given the benefit of the doubt in the LAW court. However JT admitting saying "You f***** Black c*** (I still find it ironic the one word I can spell out is the one that inflames the situation)...please see his own testimony. The FA can charge him over that alone...different rules to law courts. As an Aside: One thing that has always worried me (I was there that day, in line with the action Xblock five rows back) was the person who reacted first and got the most upset was Paddy Kenny (originally I heard JT said he said "all I said was You F****** fat C***"). Why didn't he stick to that lie...would have got away with it ?? Why wasn't Paddy asked to give testimony as to what he heard said.
No it doesn't. Because according to Terry he thought Ferdinand had accused him of calling Ferdinand a "fucking black cunt". The possibility that Terry misheard what Ferdinand said is still there. If it disproved Terry's case, like you said, then his case would have collapsed and he would have been caught out and most likely found guilty.
The point is you cant prove that in a court of law even though the judge pointed out he believed Ferdinand. Why would Terry apologise after the game if he only repeated what he thought Ferdinand said? Theres nothing to apologise for if that happened. The only reason to apologise is that he was ****ting bricks that AF heard it and was going to report him. Terrys story is unlikely to say the least so this is why he should 100% be found guilty by the FA. They dont have to prove that he said it, just that they think its likely he said it.
