It was you! Thanks for sending the stick back. I'd been thrashing a pizza delivery lad for delivering it too late and it flew out of my hand!

I was once sat watching MOTD and the front door opened and some old wife walked into our house, opened the living room door and said she was shattered and having an early night and going to bed!!!! stupid old bat was obviously pissed and walked into the wrong house, obviously we were sat there in shock and total amazement and before we could even react, she then said "ahh **** it, i'm going for another drink" turned round and walked right back out and shut the front door behind her!!!!! FFS!!! we kept the front door locked all the time after that.

About a decade ago I was coming out of the flat I lived in and in the carpark my wife and I found a plastic packet with £200-300 in it. We weren't sure what to do (the car-park was near the flats rather than in it so it could have been dropped by anyone) so handed it to the police.

A few weeks later they contacted us to say no-one had claimed it so it was ours! Honestly assumed that even if no-one claimed it we were never seeing that money again.


Strangest thing though was when I saw police tape outside my house through the kitchen window. I opened the front door in just my dressing gown (about half 7 in the winter months) and found myself looking at two female police officers under my car looking for something. They came to the bottom of the steps, at which point I remembered I wasn't wearing anything other than the dressing gown. Honestly can't recall much of the conversation as I spent the entire time worried I was going to accidentally flash them in a Homer Simpson like manner.
