A good older costner film Kish, is A Perfect world - i do apologise in advance if your comment was tongue in cheek, and in the process all i have done is point that i am a genuine costner fan...

Anyway, i'll throw some honesty in the mix (which i think makes the unit tighter) i've hardly been here because i have been/am dealing with my seperation with the wife, i remember telling all here ages ago. Felt like crap this past 6 months, but CAFC is one thing that is always in your mind at all times. Haven't been motivated to say much, even though i still lurk here at 2am as matches kickoff !

Their are some good eggs and curious cats here, makes for a great bunch. 'Upper body weight' made me laugh out loud just now.

I need my mojo back, the 5-4 and 2-0 away win cast a smile for a mile recently.....

I tend to read than post, now and then I'll type out my views for all to read. JA is now a distant blur, thank god.

A good bunch on here I must say, though regarding the AB stuff I think it needed to be discussed as much as I don't agree with his actions it is something that we have a right to discuss as a fan of CAFC..

Ahh, thanks AH. One of my fave songs. Timely ;)

Much appreciated gesture.

About due for a classic video from Glovepup perhaps...

I think its forums as a whole TBH, from how busy most were 4 years back its noting compaired to today for all forums, traffic is down, with teh likes of Facebbok as well anyone can create a page so people chat on that , you create a event people talk.

I have people on the Facebook page for my site they talk (rarely) but they never joined the forum again on Twitter i have bear on 700 followers and when i tweet something half decent i get 30 -40 re tweets and commenst but again none join the forum.

With Facebook you have non football mates games etc its all under the one roof.

Just my thoughts

I know what your saying LB, but like alot of things that go out of favour their will always be those (like me) that will always like the old way, or nostalgia, and its not to do with being an oldie or behind with the times it is just what people like. We may be forced out though in the end !

Maybe it seems quieter because there's nothing much controversial going on at the moment. JA never bothered me much, I get more annoyed at Airman Brown being brought on to this forum, albeit only by one particular poster these days. Mind you football fans can usually make a controversy out of nothing- remember the arguments about Kishishev? Amazing. There were also very divided opinions about Solly - not enough upper body weight was a favourite I remember. The two players who divide opinion most are probably Kerkar and Hamer, apart from them there's pretty general agreement I think.

It is a Football forum people have diverse views,it should be welcomed hearing those diverse views. We are all Charlton fans and we want what is best for the Club. With regard to my postings re Rick Everitt I think he is an honest man who has done more for Charlton than anybody on this Forum. There are posters on this site who have the opposite view, that is fine we will just have to agree to disagree.
