As you may have noticed, forum has gone through an update overnight. May need you to log back in. Most of the functionality should be the same, but if anyone comes across anything funky out of the ordinary etc then stick it on here so can report back to the guys in charge.

hopefully after a few days/weeks will get used to the new layout. I know how much we all love and embrace change….
 
I thought I'd done something wrong when logging in today. Then I managed to find this thread and see that the site's undergone a change. It's an absolutely awful format and about as user unfriendly as it could possibly be.
 
I agree, having started to use it, it is far less user friendly. Cluttered with things I don't want to see and things I do every day, like switching between 2 forums (or more if I choose) has become a pain. If I go to another forum, there seems to be no quick way back to my default forum, other that to close the window and come back in. That is painful. Maybe I'm missing something. I am used to change and can quickly adapt but not happy with everyday simple facilities being removed

I imagine that most people have one or two favourite forums that they visit every day and find all this other stuff cluttering up the screen and removing the simplest navigation tool a bit annoying

Thanks for that. Just a minute now while I look for the emojis..... No can't find them.

Just another couple of things I thought of about PM's, how do you know when you've received one and is the history of PM's still there?

The colour is the only thing that hasn't changed for me. Are you not getting a list of 'similar threads' below the thread you're on? And a weird jump screen as you post your comment?

Has the thread thing at the bottom not always been there? Im not sure about the jump screen.

Has it changed colour? Its still blue, but possibly a different blue. Actually im not sure.

The notification thing has moved, im sure it used to be somewhere else, but I can't remember where.

No, it's a new addition. Honestly, I will have to get used to it but it's not very user friendly at all.

Ok yeah I was on my laptop earlier, so that's the same place as before.

I've just checked on my phone now which is an Android, top left under the not606 logo are 3 horizontal lines, tap that, then at the very top within the blue banner you see what I think is an envelope to the left of the bell.
