FORUM RULES - Racist comments will not be tolerated

Of course this isn't debatable - and it shouldn't be. But the point above: "trying to gain the moral high ground on the subject is, quite frankly, pathetic." is inaccurate. It's not a question of any high ground at all. The point I've made - missed or deliberately ignored by all of the above - is that you are now adopting a commendable 'no tolerance' policy whilst in the recent past allowing comments from your own go without a whimper. Moron Hughs's statements at Post 7 above are a matter of record yet nobody's bothered, apparently. Presumably because it's OK to call someone a *****phile if he's a Jack. In fact it's a bit of a laugh, right?

I'll be seeing if this new regime is evenly handled but based on recent evidence it won't be. Idiots like Hughs are encouraged by most of you who egg him on like a bunch of schoolboys tittering behind the bike shed. This empowers him and he thinks he can say whatever he likes and I've no doubt he will cross the line again. Let's see what you do about it Siam.

No. Name calling insults the person who is being called that name, and as I stated before, I would rather people read those posts and make a judgement on the person. Name calling does not have to be based on any fact. Are you really struggling to see the difference?

Racist posts attack a person for who they are or the culture they were born into. Racism is very different. You somehow fail to see that this thread is about racists comments and not name calling. Who cares about a name that can be made up regardless? Attacking somebody by race does not operate in that way.

You can say hypocritical if you want (you say it all the time), but you seem to think we should leave your name calling posts up but ban others. Frankly, you go on and on in an abusive tone on this board and we allow it. Your board would not be so tolerant of somebody posting in the manner you do.

You can try to say that you are just making a comment on Cardiff issues, but we all know that is rubbish. Yet you demand action when something is said against you. I prefer to leave the name calling there for all to see.

You then go on about how disgusted you are by the way a poster insults you on this board, yet you return to make your own insults not just on JH but others as well and continue to drag the whole thing out. Again you are not required to post here.
