Utterly meaningless penalty. Lewis will easily be 10 seconds of everyone bar Bottas (who will move over) I miss drive-through penalties. Force them to overtake cars to get their position back, not just pull away easily.
The moral of the story is to always go to the outside and cause a crash. It'll cause the other person the be penalised. Noted.
Just for arguments sake. Let's switch Max and Hamilton in that scenario. How do we think Horner and Helmut(et) would respond?
It's almost like FIA are saying Lewis we need to be seen to give penalty but it won't actually make any difference? On another note Bottas's behaviour this weekend with tows etc and support for 'racing incident' over radio he is doing everything he can to retain his seat? So maybe George doesn't have contract yet?
From what I have hard we are just weeks away from an announcement saying George will be in from next year. It’s unfortunate for Bottas, but he can’t say it’s unfair.
If Hamilton had gone left and taken the outside, and got punted off I’d imagine Horner would have been saying it was his fault and that if you take the outside you take the risk. He is, like Red Bull in general, without shame.
