Thought I better post early as different race weekend, which could be interesting.

Poll closes at QUALI on Friday!!!!!!

52 laps of the 5.891-kilometre Silverstone Circuit
    16th July Practice 1 14:30 - 15:30
    16th July Qualifying 18:00 - 19:00
    17th July Practice 2 12:00 - 13:00
    17th July Sprint Qualifying 16:30 - 17:00
    18th July Race 15:00 - 17:00

    All times are UK times

Poll closes at QUALI on Friday!!!!!!
Let me know if that's OK or it should stay as normal and close after last practice on Saturday?

Max really is at one with the Red Bull. It's looking like he is way a head of the rest....

Barring something drastic happening, it's really looking more and more like this season is done. Which is a massive disappointment given the early promise.

Funny session tbh- wouldn’t read everything into it.

Merc did a lot of laps on medium tyre and I think we’re bedding in upgrades.

McLaren ought to be pretty nifty here as Dan Ricc has said this car is really good in high speed corners but less so in low speed (polar opposite of his Renault) so them edging Merc hand whilst Merc gather data isn’t a surprise.

Throw in this quali followed by sprint quali and I think a lot of people have thought well let’s do what we can to have a good Sunday.

Hard to know how to read it!!

Max was mighty in middle sector

Yeah... I guess it's really early to call it. But Max and RBR seem to be just stretching their legs. Sooooo want a close season, regardless of who wins it.

    Funny isn’t it .

If things carry on the way they are going , it will be done and dusted well before the end of the season .

All I want as a fan of F1 ( teams and drivers come and go ) is for it to go to the last race of the season .

I do wonder if Mercedes are up to something. The swing to Verstappen dominance has been extreme.

I justvthink they are pumping everything into next year. Though I do wonder how RBR are coping with improvements to this year's car and investing in next year's.

My guess is that they are using alpha tauri's budget!!! Although they are doing quite well this year.

To me having 2 teams means you can use some of the same components on both teams cars, so half development and production costs. OK so tubs are team specific but so many parts can be 'bought' in or costs shared Red Bull have a big advantage. I'm sure FIA will be keeping a careful eye on them but lots of stuff can be shared so massive savings, even super computers, wind tunnels etc all time limited so have spare capacity for dual use and half costs.

I had read similar. Big drop off if that is the case . Fair play to RBR if that is a loophole they have found . Merc don't have a b team . Williams..if only ...

Loving some of the high and distance shots of the cars. Gives you a much better sense of speed vs the tight shots that seem to be the standard at most races.

I was just thinking that the images looked great, they really are getting some great shots.

Did Lewis just find a huge chunk of time in Q1? Is a tow worth much round here?

George does amazingly. Wouldn't it be good for Williams first points to be here??
