I’m really intrigued as to how Ferrari go this weekend. They’ve been excellent through corners and were very fast in sector 3 in Barcelona. I have read that Mercedes used their maximum downforce wing in Barcelona whereas Red Bull have more downforce to add in Monaco. With Max Verstappen fastest in sector 3 in Barcelona, it bodes very well that Red Bull can go even further with their downforce package. Sergio Perez was very confident in his interview. I hope Ferrari can add more for the weekend because I’d like a really competitive qualifying. I was expecting McLaren to have a tough weekend but Norris sounded quietly optimistic that there was plenty of downforce they could add for the weekend package and that they’d been at tracks where they were able to run lean. Alpine weren’t bad in sector 3 in Spain either so I hope Alonso can have some fun in quali.
I have a bad feeling about this weekend as a Ham fan. I have a good feeling about this weekend as someone who wants a close title fight. Could see Mercs fighting it out with Ferrari for 3/4. Does Cosi who used to post here still contribute?
Not seen Cosi around in forever. Tried messaging him a couple of months back to see where he was at, but no response. Hope he's well.
Charles gearbox failed after 4 laps! He can't get a break round here. Gulf mcl looks good but in bright sun I think the blue needs to be a little more blue as it looks almost white.
I want Perez to get a good result in this race. Not just for his own sake, although it would be nice to see. I'd like to see him gain some confidence and put two Red Bulls up there at the sharp end.
Not been impressed with Schumacher at all, he's done nothing to show me he'll even be as good as his uncle. All the top drivers you could see in the first few races they could be special.
I think he needs time . I’m no expert , but I have read before that he usually takes a while to get going . If haas have gone just for the commercial possibilities then that’s sad .
Not a surprise. He's always been steady, rather than spectacular, in lower formulas. They really are (Stoffel and Valsecchi withstanding) a very good indicator of future skill.
