True. But perhaps more importantly, it also means they have more 'window' for what they do as the race evolves. A one stop strategy is very rigid, leaving little room to react to changing circumstance.
Not really. It would depend on when it came out (for instance: before or after one has pitted). It could be argued that the SC is less of a problem if a team has planned for more stops, because it is more likely to be able to take advantage of the situation with new tyres for minimal time loss, and less likely to be left high and dry with no further strategical options. I firmly believe that this race is likely to be a fascinating strategical battle; and for this reason, I think most will prefer the extra flexibility of more than one stop. Some will probably still consider 3. If I were planning for this race, I would be going for a strategy which allowed the greatest number of options (sic).
Looking forward to this one - I think Lotus this time! Everything will depend on Qualifying for this race I believe.
5Live. Oh dear! Sky have made the F1 show into an MTV cribs show now. "This is where the magic happens... *gunshot*"
I can assure you, the germans are my favourite people on this earth, their football team is going to make me some money this summer.
I need to work out some elaborate way of watching the qualifying in the sun tomorrow. Hmmmm BBQ whilst watching qualifying, perfect
