I was p****** my self with excitement when we signed the star that was Chris Samba.......But all i got to see was the slow, tired, unfit lump that must of been his much lesser talented identical twin brother.

Wouldn't have him back if we were paid.

Another player who came with a big reputation.

Sadly for whatever reason he didnt deliver and got only knows why a black/coloured player would ever returm to play in Russia,,,,apart from money !

Dont want him back he had his chance to make an impression but unlike remy...he didnt prove a thing and thus, I dont want him back !

Think he may have priced himself out of a move following the last couple of ridiculous figures paid for him. Good luck in Italy Chris...I hear racism exists there too...!

EDIT: Sorry just to justify that last comment..Name 5 black players that have played for the Italian team?...no just 3? <ok>

Amazing that the club managed to get a full refund on their investment in Samba given his performances. You can't help but think there are some dodgy deals going on in relation to Russian football.

Money laundering? Or is this just a casual reference to Grimsby Town?

Perhaps he was involved in this:

This man is a walking disaster. He cannot make his mind up. Is he sure he wants to play football even? Maybe he wants to be an astronaut?

Perhaps he should have signed up for this? Could be part of a Mars United football team?

I used to have a toy of the Space 1999 craft, as well as the Shadow Interceptor from UFO. Takes me back.

Samba and the Titanic have a lot in common, big, lumbering, takes an eternity to turn and always sinks to the bottom...

Yes, definitely, luckily, somehow, we managed to get our investment back on him by the skin of our teeth before management changes at Anzhi. I wonder what the actual current fair market value for Samba is? As others have mentioned, Danny ****tu would not have performed any worse, and possibly a whole lot better for peanuts - he would at least have been playing his heart out for us to the very best of his ability.

I had the immense pleasure of watching Danny ****tu play for Millwall against Leeds in a rerun of the game last night. He was immense, still played with a big smile, and was my (biased) Man of the Match. Commentators rated him too. He hardly gave Leeds a sniff, his headed clearances went back to Leeds half, he was OK on the floor and was still winning everything in time added on. I certainly wouldn't mind having him in reserve based on that performance. As Millwall have a regular CB out for a few weeks, Danny could be getting games there. Good luck to him!

That is the enjoyment of watching football, seeing players that really enjoy being out there, and prepared to put their heart and soul into their performance.

We understand it is their job/career, but to also for the players to get feedback from supporters, and up their effort, is where this game excels.
