    That was what I thought, but as I say, it can be hard to be sure on tv. I'm happy to be corrected by someone who went though.

    No mate, but it looked that way on TV to me. Re the Newcastle game...that was the same formation too. It was Adel's best game and we basically out-played the toon!!

    Complete agree with you Roller. Anyway we can incorporate Mackie in to the side is good with me. I thought he was our most effective player against Spurs. He had the confidence to run at the Spurs defense and forced mistakes out of players who were completely faultless in the first half. In many ways he is just a championship quality player, but his work ethic propels him to a higher standard.

    However, I can't see him and Taarabt starting in the same team against City. I think Warnock will stick with the same team and formation that started against Spurs, but possibly with Mackie in for Tarbs. I maybe completely wrong, but I can't see NW changing to 4-4-2 anytime soon.
