Hi Gasheads
Just thought I would post this
For some time now I have been saying that you cannot in this league play Cary and Any at the same time in midfield as whilst they are great going forward they provide absolutely no help for the defence and that leaves two midfielders high and dry.
Since Cary and Harrold have been injured North and latterly Mcghee have been left with no option but to play Ani up front on his own which provides the extra coverage in midfield for defence that is requied at this level.
I am over the moon that we have strung two wins and a draw together but it has been partly by luck not selection as when fit Cary ANI and Harrold were selected by Chuckle.
I hope that when both are fit that we do not play the same formation that puts pressure on the defence and leaves us wide open to conceding goals.
Luck and injuries have played a big part in getting the formation and players right long may it continue.Maybe playing for contracts with a new manager has also helped!! and the McGhee factor
Do you agree >??
