There you go Minxy personally I think we need to get 4 points from our next two as we need to build on some decent home form and keep you buggers at arms length <length?. There are some tasty ones in there and I fancy we won't lose many. It's just whether drawing most of them will be enough to see us home.... Bolton Wanderers H Leeds United H Millwall A Derby County A Hull City H Crystal Palace H Sheffield Wednesday A Birmingham City H Burnley A
Some interesting ones there. How do you reckon you will do against Bolton? They seem to have picked up their form a bit recently. ( although I could be wrong ... don't pay much attention to their scores)
I'll predict a 0-0 draw. We are a very boring team to watch these days, we've only conceded 4 in the last 9 games or so (I think..)
I will forecast it for you Bolton Wanderers H Lose Leeds United H Win Millwall A Lose Derby County A Draw Hull City H Lose Crystal Palace H Lose Sheffield Wednesday A Win Birmingham City H Win Burnley A Draw whats that + 11 points, plus 43 = 54 points. And that includes losing 3 home games. More than I reckon we can get. And you only have to finish 4th from bottom. The 4 points you have on POSH, BCFC and Wolves at the moment are so vital. And POSHMINX - you say Derby are safe, but they only have 2 more points than Ipswich and Sheff Wed. There is still time for someone wlse to join us in the bottom 3....
My predictions for the end of season placings (bottom half) for what it is worth: 12 Birmingham 59 13 Sheff Wed 59 14 Charlton 58 15 Blackburn 57 16 Derby 55 17 Blackpool 54 18 Barnsley 54 19 Huddersfield 53 20 Peterborough 52 21 Bristol City 52 22 Ipswich 52 23 Millwall 51 24 Wolverhampton 45 Where teams are level on points it is their current goal difference that decides their placing (assuming no freak scores will occur to change the ratio). My predictions are based on form, with greater emphasis given to current form (Millwall and Wolves are having a torrid time in the League at the moment).
Have you seen our home form? We pick up most of our home points against teams in the top half...Leicester, Cardiff and Blackpool, in fact, the only win we have gained at home against teams in the bottom half is Peterborough and they outplayed us!
not quite sure where you see brizzle and wednesday getting all those points from, also Im fairly sure we will finish above you.
By looking at current form and assuming it will continue Mighty Horse, but Millwall winning at Charlton has already dented that table as well as Barnsley beating Watford Italia and Huddersfield winning at Leeds showing how incredibly close the finish is going to be. Most seasons 48 points have been enough to ensure survival, this season I think it will take more, perhaps 52-53, so everyone, from Burnley in 11th down, needs to keep an eye on the relegation spots and to ensure they don't get dragged down into the scrap for survival
Form in this leauge is the hardest to predict, its what makes our leauge so much more exciting than the prem as its always so changeable. Think it is fair to say to say 48 will not be enough, probably need 54, its a brave call to make a table like yours.
Update after the weekends fixtures: please log in to view this image It's tight isn't it! Lots of wins for those down the bottom mean the big losers are Barnsley, Wednesday and Bristol. Looking at the table, perhaps I should have included Blackburn and Blackpool, as they're slipping down the table too. Predicted finishes based on current 5-game form: Huddersfield 61-62 Millwall 59 Ipswich 59 Barnsley 56-57 Peterborough 55 Shef Wed 54 Wolves 53 Bristol 52 So based on current form, MightyHorse plumping for 54 points isn't far off, but surprisingly it's higher than that. Very, very tight though!
I can't lay claim to finding this (stolen from Leicester board) but I recommend you take 60 seconds to have a look at this page as it shows the diagram of everyone's form this season http://www.leagueslider.com/ *you have to select the Championship to see the clubs slide
