OK as it's out there I do know the reason. He was threatened with a permanent ban for his one and only indiscression. Bit harsh, as it was only in response to others verbally abusing people (without a similar caution for some reason). Whatever, it's enough to stop him posting. Shame.
That was my take on it too gandy, he took hit after hit and when he finally bit back....BOOM
After he had said he was fed up, I stated that steps would be taken if there was anymore name calling. He then fired in with one after reading the warning.
If it had been anybody else apart from him, then I would have banned them, but it would not have been a permanent ban.
The ban would have been for 24 hours as a cooling down period.
If he had a problem with that, he could have messaged me, as anyone can.
To flounce off is a bit of a tartish thing to do in my opinion. After all, it only an internet forum.
If any of us spoke in a pub the way we do on here, people would have walked out, or got thumped.

I´m sure it´s not really a question of ´begging´ anyone to come back Resurgam, but don´t you think, as staff member and chief officer, that it would be in all our best interests, to have as many active and content members as possible, contributing as often as possible - we´ve lost plenty enough lately as it is. I only got to hear of this through gandy, and I was also a bit surprised, as FML has hardly been the most offensive on here, as far as I can make out. He certainly deserves some sort of explanation, don´t you think, and if it´s a good enough one, he might even return without the need for begging.
Has anyone considered the possibility that there have been no games and he may have been just enjoying spending time with his family over Christmas? .
Also Tony Munky Carabuh and others have left and nobody made a big fuss .

Yet he's all for free speech and relaxed moderating when it comes to other posters.
