Every fkin coach has a plan! But Amorim has one plan which has led to winning 6 of 24 league games. How do you even defend such outcome as though there is a plan. Even Amorim knows he’s on borrowed time!

As I’ve said numerous times, playing the same system match in match out when it is clear it ain’t working is uber idiotic of Amorim. The players are there but he has no idea how to get the best out of due to his stubbornness against change.

Let’s just thank our lucky stars we are not getting relegated. But continue with the same ideology next season and we would be fked.

It is a manager’s sole job to continuously innovative to implement a working for the players he has. If the players can’t collectively adapt to a system, it is the manager’s responsibility to find a way to re-adapt the system to something effective.

If you look at the current top five, was it ever a realistic target to break into that from the position and state left to us by Ten Hag?

And sign those players that have been identified over the last six months, not the ones that various media outlets and gossip columns tell us we need.

Whether you like it or not, we'll need to be signing at least four, probably five, new players of varying degrees of experience and cost this summer.

Including a striker, because ours doesn't score enough goals, and a keeper, because ours don't make enough saves and make too many mistakes.

I think we are deluding ourselves to the point that even Amorim would disagree with that assessment that system is working. This is evident if you watch his interviews. He knows it would be suicidal for him to suggest he sees progress after losing every other game.

Their success was built for methodical takedown of opponents, which was a complete shift from Klopp’s system.

His job is to primarily find a method that will suit his team and adapt with the games from learning more about the team. Amorim has failed publicly in that regard. He is beyond lost when you listen to him speak, especially lately. Slot inherit a squad that Klopp had been building for years, Amorim inherited the shambles that Ten Hag/Solskjaer/Woodward had thrown together.

The narrative leading up to Ten hag's departure was always that; 'United have no philosophy, not defined style of play, they buy players that don't fit any system and are thrown in together with no plan'. All true as well.

That was Ten Hag, not Amorim. Amorim does have a philosophy, half these players don't fit it.

He should not change his ways to try to fit a bunch of square pegs into round holes, we're done with that. He was employed to change our game.

And if he looks lost, it's because he realises that there are multiple players needed and that a **** load of those he inherited aren't up to it.

It's just obvious, I don't get why you can't see it.

Let’s perform a simple thought experiment… imagine Amorim was given the Liverpool team at the start of the season. Do we honestly think he would win the league with his system?

Here is a fact of life in football, Chief.. when a team has been as bad as we have been, the manager is culpable. It is an indictment on the manager and Amorim knows it!

Regardless of where you stand, this is the reality in football. A manager can have wonderful plans and philosophy, but the usefulness of his ideas is always subject to judgement based on demonstrable evidence when the footballers put on their boats to take to the pitch. You can’t change it, I can’t change it. It is just a fact of life!

Also, it is completely irrelevant that we’ve tried a million managers. If the current one ultimately proves not the right one, it means you have to get a new one in, try it, until a solution is found. There’s a reason why other teams passed up on Amorim but we were too stupid to ignore those reasons.

I don’t think it was a wrong thing to do to get rid of ETH. He was done psychologically! However, what the board did wrong is hiring a man that was hell bent on playing one system which we don’t have cash flying around to support in the form of new players.
