I look forward to our match at St Marys but just please try and be a little more humble the majority are giving the club a bad name.

I think we're certainly gelling and playing better and also starting to find some consistency in our performances which is the key thing.

As for the Saints, I was impressed with them when they came here and I think they'll definitely score goals in this league. I don't feel you can get to top of the league without being a bad team so the quality must be there. The test for them will come if/when they lose 3/4 games on the bounce and whether they can pick back up the form that they have now off the back of the League 1 season. They'll do well to keep up the form required for auto's but I think they can definitely make the play-offs.

Give you a clue.

When you have more possession than other teams and are playing well, you generally attack more
When you attack more you make things happen in the penalty area
When you make things happen in the penalty area, chances are defenders will make fouls
Fouls in the penalty area = penalties.

 

Think you'll find we've only had three penalties this season so far, in all competitions. Not five or seven or nine, just three.

And as it happens those three were given for a one handball, and two pulling/grabbing incidents.

So no, it's not how it always appears (Lambert's hat-trick vs Forest was penalty free!!) and it's not because we're divers. Please get your facts right next time you try and bad mouth another team.

Think you'll find our attendances actually improved whilst we were in league one. Our following, both home and away, was very good.

If you want to talk about poor attendances, I suggest you look at the blue end of the M27.
