I just saw this comment in the MFW article - "That is the best summary of how I feel about my club right now. I have been Going to carrow road since the 1959/60 season. There have been great and bad times but I always wanted to go, because it was my club. I have lost enthusiasm and confidence in the way it’s being managed. This is not something which has just happened but has been creeping in for a few years now and I don’t like it! With over 1500 games watched in my lifetime, I think it may be coming to the point where I don’t care whether I go or not. To carry on with music theme……we had joy we had fun we had seasons in the sun…..it’s getting a little dark now.. OTBC!"
Yet another disgruntled supporter/fan and I can only admire your dedication ILD and I know several who are in 'each camp'

Also worth reading for our very own General's comment. #hitsnailonhead

Interesting blog, but it does have a definite Forest bias. He makes no mention of Forest only managing 11 shots against 14 for Norwich, in spite of playing at home. It's easy to say Forest played well because they won, but I got the definite impression they were the weaker side throughout, but got lucky with Murphy's goal. That doesn't excuse the fact that we didn't make more of the chances we created, which is certainly what needs to be addressed against Preston.

An occasional win would lift the spirits with the fans but after a string of away wins the team has gone into rapid decline. Why? There have been many attempts to explain the present predicament, but will we ever fathom the real reason? Clearly the lack of goals scored has to be a major factor but I have read that our attempts on goal have been high but those on target are low. The past 5 years have been disappointing in many ways and now fans are wondering when there might be a period of success. Promotion, demotion, an eighth place finish now this present decline to 13th? Are our expectations greater than the reality?

Commenting purely on the games I've seen at CR, we seem to be trying to score the 'perfect goal' or 'walk the ball into the net. I use an app n my mobile which shows the 'blocked shots' and they can be quite high with teams defending in depth. Several players have blasted wide when clean through on goal and it seems Basil is now starting to suffer from this affliction.

IMO, I'd like to see the opposing keeper tested more regularly!!

Both comments a factually correct, although the 'may be' suggests doubt where there is none.
