I think we just have to accept that we are going to be shyte away from home and hope that our home form keeps us mid-table. You can't disguise our defensive deficiencies and that more than anything will keep us nervously looking at the form of those below us...
We had 4 days of glory and optimism, but now we have two weeks of gloom and despondency before we get a chance to put this one right
Didn't want to get too carried away with back to back wins and likewise won't get too despondent about today. By and large we have been playing well even in defeat. Got to allow the players an off day. It's all about how they react to it in the next game.
Nothing like s good dose of reality to bring us back down to earth. It was good while it lasted. Normal services have resumed. Move along people, nothing happening here.
I did not see a F@@@ing thing until half time as the f@@@@ing Sun was in my eyes for the whole of the first half...and they charge 25quid for the privilege..and the locals tell you to bring sunglasses but still I did not see anything until we were 2 goals down (you may say I am lucky...but that is not the @@@@ point. Why do they play mull of kintyre at the start of each half...and why do they have to sing "you've lost that loving feeling" when they score FOUR F@@@ING Times And why did they have two of the fastest wingers I have ever seen (McKay and Wilson) ..and how did they get hold if such a talent as Dowell from Everton....better obviously than any current Everton premiership players. Baptiste got scalped and scalped again as right back...(bad move Ollie) Mackie had an argument with one of our supporters who had a go... And THEN I got in appropriately cuddled by two drunk Forest fans (who didn't know I wasn't one of them admittedly) who wanted me to agree that Forest were magic In the argot of the last week....#ME TOO. Can I get the Forest to resign from the league like Sir Michael Fallon did
I like the walk to the ground...by the river.. But who puts a stand right in the line of the setting sun...major design fault We were so out of salts today, looked very tired..(after two such monuments games in the last week possibly understandable)...and Ollie tactics of playing Baptiste against the speedy wingers was stupid!!..but 6 points from these three games were 5 more than I thought we would get. I would like to see us win there...so I am adding it to my bucket list of things to do before I die
Won 5 drawn 6 lost 5 position 14th if we end won 15 drawn 16 lost 15 it is a big step forward From last year I'll take it now.
Me too. Really annoying. Really, really REALLY hope we can win on 27th. On a Monday night. On Sky. Dear oh dear.
I looked at October and thought ... that's a tough month. Now I'm looking at November and thinking... this is a tough month, this is not easy... Villa at home; Derby away; Brentford at home. Having lost 4-0 today, we have a tough time ahead ... again. Talk about a rollercoaster, we have no idea how we will perform (or what team Holloway will pick) or what the result might/could/will be! It's crazy. It's maddening. It's mental. Just as well this club is in my blood!!!!!! Here we go again!!!!
I was amongst those that went yesterday. Gotta say, we were absolute ****!! Traore played out of his skin. We lost the game in midfield though. We will be OK this season, but we ain't getting anywhere near the playoffs.
When you're bad and everyone knows it (last season in the PL), there is no hope and no expectation. My problem is that I know this team is capable of playing good (not great) and entertaining footie. Therefore it is doubly disappointing when we get trounced by a team who started below us in the table. Hopefully just a(nother) bad day at the office and we move on to Villa. There were a couple of occasions when we played them in the PL that we should have won and they got lucky, plus we beat them at their place in the league or FA cup so here's hoping.
Only saw the brief highlights on channel 5 last night and that should have been from behind the sofa !!!!! Bad day at the office I suppose it was always likely to happen after last 2 games but then this is a mad division..... derby conceded 4 at home to reading, Bolton beat Norwich, Brentford put 3 past massive, Burton won at millwall.....anyone can beat anyone.....oh and that bollox big racist terry should have been sent off , dreadful tackle.... Still we'll win as many as we lose and will end up mid table which is better than last season.... Up the R's.
