Meanwhile, Swindon, with a caretaker manager, having lost many loan players, including Gladwin, didn't seem to miss a beat in league play today, beating Southend 4-2, coming from behind after being 2-0 down.

Just wish we could field a team demonstrating that sort of grit, in league or cup play.

Swindon Town caretaker boss Luke Williams has bemoaned the return of key loan players to their parent clubs.

Defender Kevin Stewart's recall by injury-hit Liverpool comes on top of Ben Gladwin, Adam El-Abd, Wes Thomas, Louis Thompson and Henrik Ojamaa having all left the County Ground too.

"All the clubs are looking at their own players," Williams told BBC Wiltshire.

"It's not always possible to know what is going on with a player until we have a definitive answer from the club."

We need a clear out top to bottom . Rally thought luongo and gladwin may have made a bit more attacking bite today . It's not the new players it's the old ones negativity that is being passed on I feel ?

?? But would QPR give someone 4 years to build a team ??

We are calling for Managers sacking after 6 games ???

Damage called for JFH sacking before a
kick

How silly of me. I called it that JFH's record before and 1st team selection was too negative.

How wrong he's continued to prove me...

In the last 5 years we've had how many players, managers, coaches, fitness staff, cleaners et al......we've had so many clear outs that it's becoming an annual occurance...........How many more clear outs do we need?

They need a run in the side. If Fer is brought back on Tuesday I give up.

Apart from the good one we just sold for peanuts and the good one we loaned out, we don't have a natural right-back.

So.........no-one actually saw the game then? In that case we have no idea whether players who were previously poor, like Gladwin, were any better or not.

Think the stats had us with more attempts on target than them but other than that no idea how well we played. Offish suggesting JFH gave the te a rollicking after though.

I don't comment too much on games i don't go to but apparently we played better in the second half.

Surprised he could be bothered for a game that was just an inconvenience to him.

No idea how we played, reports are of a dire, dull game overall with them shading first 45 and us the second half. Given that players were plucked from loans and the bench to play, may have been ok.

But most importantly it leaves us free to concentrate on the league. Who knows, if we put a run together we could get to, say, 11th.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a dreamer.

I've backed us at 66/1 to go down
