Shelvey was stupid. Yes he was fouled but Newcastle had the ball (and possibly a break away advantage) he kicked out and, although he didn't make much contact, he thrust 6 studs towards the players stomach. Pure idiocy and Swansea fans said he had that stupid streak in him.

Second red is one that can go either way. Ref has deemed the foul intentionally stopping a goal scoring opportunity. Which means it's right. Defender has to intend to play the ball. As Lansbury simply stopped, it's always going to be a foul as the defender is just going to run into him. First red though I can't understand the upset from some. The forest player tripped Shelvey and Shelvey kicked out.

Exactly, both reds were justified.

can agree ..shelvey was stupid ..hate players who do this ...why oh why ... makes no sense

Well..Beagrie and Pearce agreed they were not pens...shev was kicked 1st and the 2nd pen....dived.

As for the mackems in here dangerous game to play when your favs to beat Leicester and your fans ringing in radio Newcastle ****ing wildly about how you will turn them over tomorrow...

Having seen the highlights...neither player should have been sent off...and well done your keeper for saving the pens....the ref was crap


But is it wrong that I find it so amusing
