Yeah, I’m pretty ambivalent towards them but there’s no denying they’re a big club with decent supporters. They’ve got two more European Cups than Man City and Arsenal.
That being said, Forest fans in the home stands is a no-no and I’m glad the club is cancelling their tickets and hopefully they’ll get booted out if they manage to get in the home ends. Also hope we thump them to prevent them getting 2nd.
No problem with that except when they ram it down your throat that they're a "big" "proper" club with loads of fans. Might just be a social media phenomenon though
If we're looking for a top 6 finish next season who would you rather was not in the Championship, Bournemouth or Forest? I'm not sure yet but I might say Forest.
Bournemouth will be having a fire sale if they don’t go up. And we beat them this season at their peak!
Agreed. Really dislike Parker too. But...seeing Forest, first hand, lord it up at our place wold make me internally wriggle - in a bad way - so it's a tough one. Maybe, there's a third way.
Can they both still **** it up and Udders pip them? Perhaps that's the (very unlikely) third way. Both lose their last two and draw with each other and Udders win their last two. Possible I suppose
Massively short term and selfishly maybe, but I’d rather see Bournemouth go up so we can laugh at, and mock, Forest fans on the last day. Ideally while getting the news that the Blunts have ****ed up too and have dropped out of the play offs
It’s not exactly difficult to find out if they’re Forest fans buying in the home end. I imagine the algorithm checks if they’ve bought other tickets this season (or ever) in the home ends and if they haven’t, they do a bit more digging to verify.
He has a moan further down the thread saying he’d bought City tickets before. I’d imagine most people could be found out with about 10 seconds on google or Facebook
Bumped into two Forest fans in the York Taphouse on York railway station when I was on my way to M'Boro recently. They were going to see Forest at home v Brum. Spoke to them and both of them were from Hull. Two blokes aged 35/40 ish. One of them said he saw the Brian Clough days. I asked them why they didn't support Hull City and the excuse was something about their father either from or working in Nottingham but they also said their mother has a box at our stadium and supports Hull City. They also said they'd get tickets for the City v Forest game with no problem.
