# If you don't want to be called a racist, don't keep making racist remarks. It really is shameful the way you keep trying to squirm your way out of your prehistoric, bigoted opinions. I'd have more respect if you had the guts to own up to your racist tendencies, as it is you seem to both delight and hide from them.
OLM - it dont surprise me in the least that you used to sing that. Why bring nationality references into it at all. Cant say i had a belly laugh at it, and certainly hasnt helped me bond with any of the twats that were singing it (and yes - they are twats cos they support florist). So why did they sing it, and OLM, why did you used to sing it ? Only one reason - cos its nationalistic and consequently has a root in racism. The forest fans also sang 'you're rich but you're still ****' - which did make me smile. That is banter, not the other ****e they came out with. This is nothing to do with football, and is more inspired my members of BNP/EDF who are infiltrating football stadiums more and more. Whilst I personally wasnt upset by their song, I can understand that some others may well have been, so cannot believe that there are people from a number of teams (inc LCFC) who are prepared to speak up on their behalf. Absolutely shameful. Racism or nationalistic overtones do not belong in club football.
Bang On Barewell...its simple logic really! Whilst you can try to twist the interpretation of the words and blame the over reaction of the polictical correctness world gone mad...you cannot hide from the fact that bringing up elements of nationality in order to insult/offend/mock(or banter if you prefer) has negative connotations which some may find hurtful. And before you start spouting off ill-educated nonsense that Florist are 'just making banter against your new Thai billionaire identity" then i hope its just stupidity on your part that you beleive that. They are making a public statement that being "English" is somehow superior and by doing so makes all "Non-English" inferior. Just because youre not offended does not make it right on the basis that its just banter, or its humour and its needed to break dow barriers. Im not offended by it but i can see why it could be offensive!!
you make racial remarks all the time that are borderline racist, its always, thick white people this, white that.you don't mention things like Pakistani and Indian people are more racist to each other than whites are,but you only ever mention Whites.
I never bring up racial issues. But I will pull people up when I think they're out of order. So yes, you probably have seen a lot of comment from me! Racism is wrong whoever commits it. If there were Asians or blacks spouting anti-white garbage, I'd be the first on their back. But in my personal experience, racism is more likely to be commented in this country against ethic minorities. I've never received racial abuse, nor have any of my white friends to the best of my knowledge, but a lot of my Asians and blacks friends have been racial abused, particularly those I went to University with in Yorkshire.
A bold statement in deed. It flies in the face of the evidence, but facts haven't got in the way of your bigotry before... If only you hadn't made it on the same thread as your very own racist comments.
Gangsta ....there's loads of racism hurled at White people you must have your head in the sand ... Maybe you never go outside ? Did you not see the documentary the other month showing Asians targeting underage WHITE girls and prostituting them out to old Asian guys ... You couldn't put it on here what the twats where saying about WHITE girls ...
Agree Scarborough, it is a 2 way street, but sometimes it can seem unfair. Is it racist of me to think that if Diane Abbott was white making a horrible comment about black people, then she would already be in the dole line? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...e-row-MP-faces-calls-resign-racist-tweet.html
It was a chant at a football match aimed to get a rise out of the opposing fans, goes on at every game. Seems the only people upset is the old bill as any Leicester fans I've spoke to couldn't give a toss - they'd rather beat them
I think I've already said in a previous post that's it works both ways. But I feel you are suggesting that because a small amount of blacks and Asians are racist then it is acceptable for a small portion of whites to be the same? That's wrong, neither are acceptable. Regarding Diane Abbott, very disappointed that a person in her position even feels the need to bring skin colour into a interview, but that said, I can tell you from experience that politicians are some of the ignorant and stupid people I've ever met.
At football or in the car park afterwards Yeah, i can't imagine any fan is losing sleep over the chants tbh, think it is a whole load of something out of nothing, but these kind of threads always bring up a lively debate.
You should try living in Nottingham when we beat 'em! You're buzzing from it for a week and suddenly they want to talk about anything but football! Not so good when we lose though...
