Ditto. The 80s got all about the new technology and the sound of a snare drum instead of the song. Despite me working with the technology it all pretty much passed me by apart from:

Two tracks from Love - Forever Changes. For me one of the best albums ever made. When you think that Arthur Lee and the band went into the studio with strings and horns at the same time as Floyd, Cream, Hendrix, Grateful Dead etc. were banging of 'heavy stuff' it makes it even more amazing - enjoy
