I was at a car boot on Sunday and as my daughter is now getting into vinyl records I said I would look out for some. Got her a couple of classic seventies LP's and then found the album below in a pile of country and western albums. It seemed to be a compilation album of Prog Rock groups from the late 60's. Seller only wanted a £1 so I bought it. My record deck is out of action at present so can't play it, but the album is on You Tube and having heard it I can understand why the bands never made it! I tried to see if any where for sale on Ebay, but no luck. I called a second hand record dealer in Shrewsbury and he came back to me today and advised it is an ultra rare album. The last one sold was on Ebay in 2012 for £1,022. He recommended an auction house that specialise in rare vinyl and pop memorabilia. I called them and they confirmed it is very rare and was a private pressing and these sometimes only numbered 100 or less. Needless to say it is going in their next international auction of rare records. I know condition is everything with any collector but even if I get a couple of hundred out of it after commission it will be a good find, and LFC also beat City the same day, what a Sunday. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Saw these in Ballyshannon in June. They played Chester live rooms on 23/10/22, went to see them and they were brilliant.
