ive been meaning to say as well, Saw Pardew on goals on sunday or sunday supplement or whatever that **** is with kammy and the other one, fairly recently. Pardew said, and this is pretty much word for word, that we had been having a great season (this season) but that after the derby loss, we 'fell out of love with him'


he said it with straight face too.

haha, remember the period this season where every thing he did was just gold, it was like watching evolve into a great manager before our very eyes. Then it all went a bit **** as usal. Fair play though, he came through a lot of pressure.


congrats on the FF btw heed. Its been a done deal for a while really tbh but obi was reeling you in. Bringing in and captaining austin has done it though.

 

It'll be interesting to see what happens to Crystal Palace next season under Pardew. I'm only going to judge him then.

Seriously, can you imagine that. Personally I see Palace will be fighting in lower mid table again unless they invest. He has them performing way above their actual capabilities I reckon - I think he has created a problem for himself with his success this season. No manager can keep that up with that squad. They don't have a history of heavy investment or the financial clout. There is talk of a takeover of course.

He has also been helped by the ****eness below. I am not taking anything away from him as he has clearly had an outstanding season when you combine ours and theirs, and winning that many games is never easy. However it has been boosted by the utter gashness of the others like ourselves.

Fevriul. In the calendar year 2014 we conceded more goals than another other premiership team, had the worst goal difference and gained a grand total of 42 points. People who actually support Newcastle were well aware that it was only a freak run of five wins in November (which clearly took Pardew as much by surprise as the rest of us) which was keeping us thoroughly entrenched at the bottom of the league.

I don't dislike Pardew, I don't think he's a crap manager but I don't think he was doing a good job for us either. I'm not talking about a short bad spell I'm referencing an entire calendar year which encompassed his last year in charge of us and on form we were in the bottom three. If you want to point the finger and nag about fans jumping to unreasonable conclusions then look elsewhere as the facts really aren't on your side here.

 

Dude I'm not saying you were doing stellar, but that Newcastle managed Pardew team managed to spank chelsea and there arent many teams that can say that. The point I'm making is that calendar years don't mean jack, in my opinion you guys would not be in a relegation fight if he was still in charge. It doesn't matter who the manager is, if every time you get a decent squad together ashley sells your best players you were always stay in the mid table at best. The reason why I'm even commenting is that I did six months in newcastle on a project and have a bit of a soft spot for the city.

Seriously no matter who you get in you, will get the same result..pardew was not the problem he was the sticking plaster keeping you from being relegated.

 

Do you have any idea, save that small run he had last autumn, how bad Pardew's run was last year? It was ****ing woeful and he would have been sacked at any other club.

I'm sick of ****s like you who have no idea what has gone on with us and yet feel they have to have their ten pence worth. Telling us how great he was but would no way in hell want him managing your own team.

My club is 3 points from winning the league! You got the "****" manager that was keeping your team in the prem, despite Mike ashley selling the best players like Demba Ba and Cayabe(sp?) underneath him. But hey yeah he was ****its all pardrews fault! Jesus ****ing wept.

Oh by the way the difference between me and tampons and you is that at least we get inside a fanny at least once a month!
