Less than 1% of Ancient Egyptian buildings/ruins have been excavated. God only knows what we will find in years to come.
Yeah, we can find the ruins of civilisations who built with mud bricks and bits of trees, a civilisation that used reinforced concrete and nuclear weapons should be fairly easy to find.
Aye, it's funny how these ancient civilisations are always lost forever at the bottom of seas and oceans meaning they'll never be found. How convenient.
The Romans used Concrete but it's secret was lost for 1600 years and "No one" (that I know of) has argued that ancient civilisations had knowledge of atomic weapons though.
And we've found the **** out of the Roman civilisation because they used great big stones, and concrete. And I think this post by Zico was arguing that the ancient Indians had knowledge of nuclear weapons, or at least nuclear power: That seems pretty unambiguous to me.
We know that man never had nuclear weapons before the 1940s as carbon dating since then is invalid due to radioactivity, so clearly it would be invalid since whenever the first bomb was used, but many ancient text allude to explosive weapons of a standard not thought possible before 1800. As for reinforced concrete, no matter what you reinforce concrete with, nature will erode it in well under 5,000 years, but that doesn't matter, it's the buildings we do know about where we still can't explain how they were built that are intriguing, man clearly advanced to building levels equivalent to 1900AD many thousand years ago as some of these buildings still exist today. Add on to that all the other anomalies like Egyptian trading ships in South America, distinct city remains in the Indus valley, anodized materials near the Dead sea etc. etc. and it seems almost certain that man did get as advanced in many ways as we were only a couple of hundred years ago long before Cleopatra was born, at least he did in some areas of the world. Seeing how man has reacted to natural disasters in the last few years makes it highly probable that the earth has simply wiped out these civilisations, just as it did on Santorini where they were building 4, even 5 story buildings 3,500+ years ago.
I think it's highly unlikely that the knew they were radioactive, although they could have easily known about naturally occurring radioisotopes such as Uranium without knowing their significance. However, to vitrify a city, you need more than just a knowledge of how to make Uranium metal. You need huge industrial facilities to produce weapons-grade material, you need advanced knowledge of explosives, you need a means of remote detonation, you need electricity, you need so many things that would leave so much evidence, none of which we have seen in any archaeological record. We can pick out individual nuclear tests from the radioisotopes they have left in ice cores in the antarctic, and we have a record stretching back tens of thousands of years. The only record of any large-scale nuclear fallout we have is in the last sixty years.
The Earth is 4.6 BILLION years old. Present human history states that human civilization stared 6000 years ago with the Sumerian's. Where are their buildings? Are they still standing? Pole shift occurs every 25,000 years apparently, which causes massive upheaval in the Earth's crust, mantle causing massive earthquakes, Volcanoes, continental shift. It supposedly brought to an end the last Ice-age. So the accepted opinion of the brainwashed masses is, intelligent humans have been around for just 6,000 years (which is a nanosecond in Earth's history) Sorry, I just don't think that's true. p.s I'd still would be interested to know how the Ancient South Americans built their massive perfect Pyramids with wooden tools.
