Problem here is that by the time we have identified the candidates approached them interviewed them and got the right guy on board the season will have finished anyway. i just hope scally is already putting our feelers behind the scene in anticipation.

i also don't that the injury problems cant be used as a defence, indeed in some case they have helped by forcing him to make the changes he otherwise would have been slow to make. he has been well backed.

The problem is over two years we have never looked like a team in control. we have been veering from good to bad for the whole period. we have lost two many matches we should have won and Hess doesnt seemed to have learned much over the period. I wouldnt say he is a bad manager - id say he is an average manager.

His tactical niavity balanced out by his motivational skills and player aquisitions. I think scally should put the stops out to find a better manager if we don't make the play offs. A good manager. But if the right man can not be found then give Hess another go maybe.

There is an argument to give him another go because maybe we were expecting too much? Even after the summer signings the bookies only made us 5-1 for promotion and they are usually on the money or there abouts. So if the bookies think we only had 17% chance of promotion were we being far to optimistic in expecting it and are we too quick in damming Hess for not achieving it?

My personal view is id rather find someone else but to push us on if we dont make the play off's but it would have to be the right person.
