Can someone explain to me how Fat Mike has “played” the fans? 1) he couldn’t give a toss anyway, why would he bother? 2) what’s the purpose of this elaborate game? 3) are that many good journalists really wrong? If it was some stunt the likes of Kenyon, Walker Morris, even Rafa himself would call him out. It’s just not possible to fabricate this stuff. The only argument is it’s similar to Staveley - who bid three different amounts last year, so it was all true and the only comment Mike ever made at the time was when it collapsed and he called her a tyre kicker. There is a number of takeover attempts taking place. Whether they meet fat mans valuation and come to fruition remains to be seen. Stop being so naive as to think it’s a ludicrous hoax!

The interested parties value the club a lot less than the owner does. Ashley is trying to get top dollar for a flogged dog. This is why people believe he is trying to sell but not really trying to sell. He doesn’t have to sell of course so it is unfortunately down to him if he accepts a bid or not. It’s just the bids he wants are not there. Thus it being apparent that he won’t sell. What will then happen is lack of investment, probable relegation, Rafa leaves and total chaos. With the club being valued at less than the offers on the table now. The man is not stupid. But he is an arsehole!
It's not worth 300 million or it would have sold it's a ****hole of a club now! Facilities are prehistoric, the stadium is derelict, the players arent worth a few million each, we are relegation candidates , the fans are **** dull, and the weather's crap.

1- ST renewals are up in a few weeks so he wants folk to renew. 2- a massive protest was planned just before he ‘broke’ the news that he was ‘selling’. 3- His other business is failing so he’s desperate to help enhance his book value.
