Probably still in their own country. If the husbands come here, they can earn a relative fortune, as compared to back home. A lot of these people will have paid thousands to come here. They simply wouldn't be able to afford for all of their family to be brought to Europe.

The most practical thing would be for the men to come here and try to earn money, which will probably seem like a fortune.
They'll send money home to their own country, to support their family.

Yes because they can't afford to take everyone with them. It's not that hard to understand. Ultimately, they'll try and bring their family over, or the family can use money sent from their arrival in Europe

    You are not getting it.

If it is that bad in their home country, you would get out at all costs. You wouldn't leave the bairns, the missus(es), the grandparents in a country that they are under threat or haven't got any thing.

If I was facing those threats, money would come behind the safety of my family. If they were desperate enough money would only be a hindrance in getting their families to safety.

Are you going to run a shuttle but to X Factor auditions since your tenants will all have excellent sob stories?

One last word on this topic, as I realise I'm like one of those migrants going to Italy: swimming against the tide. I've never said that it was a good thing that all the migrants are trying to get to Britain. Migrants, in huge numbers(wherever they come from), are not good for the economy. As I alluded to earlier, the Eastern European migrants are driving down wages/rates for the job in Britain and putting a strain on public services. Not a good thing for anyone.
The point I'm trying to make is it's a problem of Britain's own making. I just can't accept that it's a group of no good foreigners, who are coming here to cause mischief. It's a case of cause and effect - something David Cameron just doesn't get.

Bullshit, there's already a process for that and doesn't include sneaking into our country. You're gone from desperation to working abroad.

By getting involved in other countries' internal affairs: whether that be bombing the country or stirring up trouble with such as the Arab Spring

So its Britains fault for the centuries of ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the lack of development in Africa, the corruption etc.
