I think in football luck evens itself out, given enough time. Any particular season you can have more bad refereeing calls than good, though, but you get some crackerjacks that seem to think there is a big conspiracy against Newcastle United every year. Their own bias is laughable.

This thread is a good idea though. It's about time someone applied a scientific approach like this.

Scientific? <laugh>

I reckon it worked out about 0 +/-

Swings and roundabouts as expected.

hmmmm! not sure about that
Watford awarded a non contact penalty by a assistant - WTF
Gayle thrown to the floor against Watford - WTF Gayle gives a foul away for being hauled down
2 penalty shouts against Spuds
2 shouts yesterday -
and thats just the last 3 games

on the Chelsea forums they say they was at least one cast iron pen for us
not sure if it was pulling back Perez or the handball though either way, had we comitted those incidents
it would of surely been a penalty against us seen them given all season
the handball incident - although the guy was close to the shot by our player he did turn his back and both hands were away from his body
although Atkinson-Wenger indicated by pointing to his eyes that he did not see it

Must have been the pull back on Perez, the handball was impossible to get out the way of.

Ah well, case closed. I hope you lads are going to take this highly detailed, independent research to the FA and demand answers on why NUFC is so unfairly prejudiced against. And if they don't listen, take it to the national press. But what if they are in on it as well?

impossible to get out of the way maybe but his hands were in an un-natural position i.e. by his side
he had both hands to the right of his body and made a 'goalkeeping save' harsh, but penalty

have at look at the pen that Stoke got against Swansea
impossible to get out of the way but he blocked the ball from hitting him in the face- harsh but the result was correct - penalty
