Your knowledge of The Laws of Association Football are .......? This is a general viewing of the overall standards we have come to witness this season alone I watched MOTD last night and had seen a Watford player sent off for a less challenge than what Will Hughes had done on our player the previous home game it's what we have come to expect here a double standards on the interpretation of the laws Backed by level 2
Been waiting on this ref as , the FA recon he is one of the best .... Well as normal he showed everything about a english old **** ref . In my eyes he was judgmental before even walked on the pitch ... looked after rooney all night , let him get away with murder as well . took the piss at the end that walk off ... ( prob back to his swamp the nasty fat little thing ) sent a player off, when it was the wrong call so late in the game .... but because of his name , he was judgmental this type of Ref , the EPL wants rid of for good ...video is the only way .. I hope never to see , MR ATKINSON GRACE SJP EVER AGAIN.
for all those that do not know the laws of the game, here they are http://www.thefa.com/get-involved/referee/laws-of-the-game. in particular it seems like all the "Professional" refs don't play by the laws and make them up as they go along my pet hate is in Law 12 http://www.thefa.com/football-rules.../football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct ******************************************************************************************************************************* An indirect free kick is awarded if a goalkeeper, inside their penalty area, commits any of the following offences: controls the ball with the hands for more than six seconds before releasing it touches the ball with the hands after: releasing it and before it has touched another player it has been deliberately kicked to the goalkeeper by a team-mate receiving it directly from a throw-in taken by a team-mate A goalkeeper is considered to be in control of the ball when: the ball is between the hands or between the hand and any surface (e.g. ground, own body) or by touching it with any part of the hands or arms except if the ball rebounds accidentally from the goalkeeper or the goalkeeper has made a save holding the ball in the outstretched open hand bouncing it on the ground or throwing it in the air ********************************************************************************************************************************* when was the last time you had seen an opposition goalkeeper get done for this Law The thing is, most of the laws are open to interpretation, and is in the opinion of the ref but you cannot have an interpretation of time, time is time and cannot be changed to suit the refs ego the amount of time wasted is unbelievable I bet there was only 70mins of actual play in last nights game next time take note of how the ref turns his back on the keeper when it gets beyond 6 seconds then holds his arm in the air pointing to his watch they never add it on
You’d be lucky. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...considering-60-minute-matches-more-game-time/ Probably closer to 52 mins.
Holiday Programme of refs confirmed Sat 16.12.2017 Arsenal (a) Stuart Atwell Sat 23.12.2017 West Ham (a) Lee Mason Wed 27.12.2017 Man City (h) Andre Marriner Sat 30.12.2017 Brighton (h) Anthony Taylor Mon 01.01.2018 Stoke City (a) Chris Kavanagh it's funny that we are nearly half through the season and some refs, still have not reffed us at all, while others have made 2 or 3 appearences Stuart Attwell will be making his third appearence with us this weekend out of only 7 games he has reffed this season Andre Marriner will also be making his 3rd appearence
Rooney’s forearm smash on Ritchie was atrocious and only a few feet away from the ref who saw nothing. Hope the nasty little slag gets a retrospective ban.
too late as we would of heard about it before now it's Newcastle players that they use technology to convict
http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/12/15/newcastle-united-fans-want-everton-striker-wayne-rooney-banned/ well after watching this .. game changer minus 3 , what yous recon ( FA GOLDEN OLD BOY REF ) is blind . needs the checky slippers out for good and just retire please. why is rooney not banned
I wonder if West Hams Lanzini will et a retrospective ban for diving in the penalty area and gaining a pen against stoke I see the ref disallows a Leicester goal due the the goal scorer pushing the defender Exactly the same as the push on Mbemba against Chelsea and he was claiming his space so MOTD said at the time
Ref's Decision is final whether he is right or wrong....We all get bad decisions going for and against us....
Agreed but the reasoning of this thread is that there isn’t the swings and roundabouts balance some pretend exists. Some of us are on the roundabouts more than the swings.
At your age you should stay off both - parents will start reporting you. Seriously though I think that this thread comes out as too much us moaning that we are being victimised. I honestly don't think that is the case. I do think some players make themselves more visible to referees by generally being dicks and will end up getting penalised more because of it. In an ideal world this wouldn't happen but it does - we all know someone who is an aggressive mouthy twat (who may or may not be a Sunderland-supporting yellow chino-wearing moderator) and our actions toward them are governed by our opinions of them. It must happen with referees as well. Those players have two choices (live with it or stop being twats). In every game there are actions that could or could not earn a booking. Its very difficult to get consistency to it - the ref will be interpreting the state of the game. Sometimes bookings are needed to stop him losing control. Might actually be better if all disciplinary penalties are decided after the game by a video panel. Ref just flags up the foul and then gets on with the game. A video panel then assesses the incidents and decides who needs points/bans etc for each incident. This would have various consequences: 1) less lengthy stops 2) players will not have to modify their game because of a previous foul (I suggest that this would actually be a positive - sure it might mean that they end up deliberately fouling a player more often to stop goalscoring opportunities but you could mitigate that by modifying the disciplinary penalties accordingly) 3) more consistency in the application of disciplinary penalties I think each of these would benefit the game.
Something needs done ... I do not see this as moaning ... but as a fair game wanted by all . lets get this defeatist style away , smell the coffee into how bad ,and judgemental towards certain players these clowns really are .. there is no swing in roundabouts it is bollocks.. just keep an eye on golden boy mr kane ... how many times is he getting away with things ... sums it up for me like ..
The game is basically fair. Refs make good/bad decisions either way - it's neutral. It's staggering the bias some fans show in judging refs' decisions and the moaning that goes on. People in the stands need to grow up.
dear me ... say what you want ...but i hope you do not complain when a ref makes a mistake mind anyway the bigger picture , these errors could be the difference between staying in the epl or not . we are,,,, at count minus 3 ..as it stands ..
I complain from time to time but also acknowledge that we get decisions for us and the opposition get decisions go against them. Your claim seems to be that refs target us or have a bias against us which is utter tripe. This entire thread is a joke with you deciding the running total on the balance of decisions and that that is supposedly proof of said bias.
Him and Alli could have gone over the weekend, Alli's challenge on De Bruyne was nearly assault - studs showing, over the ball, reckless and dangerous, easily could have snapped his leg if it had been planted.
I see Lanzini has been charged by the fa for diving (West Ham player) and Tarkowski been charged for viollent conduct (Burnley player) nothing for Deli Ali or Harry Kane over the weekend or for Wyne Rooney from last Wednesday
