    I checked and Liverpool won UEFA cup 75-76 and European Cup 76-77. Paisley was the manager.

    Yep, SA got it right. Its Rafa. As PM correctly pointed out, the Champions League didn't begin until the 90s.

    Any way, onto the question that I subsequently came across (well actually, I've come across two).

    1) Which player has played in all top five divisions in England, the top division in Spain, the World Cup, the Champions League, the UEFA Cup/Europa League, and has appeared in the final of both the FA Cup and the League Cup?

    2) Name the three players to have scored Premiership hat-tricks for three different teams.

    Good to hear. No point giving out questions that everyone will know straight away (and ideally, also not a question that a quick trip to wikipedia wont sort out. Though I never understand why people use the internet to cheat. Defeat's the objective of trying to work out the answer).

    Nope PM (having manged to avoid the European Cup-Champions League difference, you've fallen for the First Division-Premiership change)

    (That said, he may not have even done it in the First Division. I don't know).
