    Yes, Don Revie introduced numbered sock tie-ups after seeing them on a cub scout's uniform.

    They were usually throw to the crowd at the end of a match.

    Leeds United had the sock tie-ups as part of their kit from 1972-73 to 1976-77 and several other clubs also adopted them during this period.

    Yes, The Texaco Cup. It was a competition which ran from 1970-71 to 1974-75 and involved clubs from England, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Ireland.

    Yes, Gareth Bale has won three (April 2010, January 2012 & February 2013 - all with Tottenham Hotspur). Ryan Giggs has won two with Manchester United.
