<laugh> I went with the official England supporters club and we were all in the bottom tier. When the **** was flying off the top it was landing mainly on us. We were dodging that and trying to run from baton charging Garda (who I regard as totally blameless by the way as nobody really twigged what was going on at first) at the same time which was an interesting experience. Oddly enough i've never been to another England away game since that!

I can remember watching Scotland v Switzerland in a pub in Chelsea - the year England put 5 past Germany - and then Seamen opened his legs to let a goal in that put us oot of the competition.

The pub wiz full of Chelsea Headhunter skinhead nutjobs. I was ordering drinks at the bar in the worst English accent ye've ever heard. ****tin maself. Even joined in with a rousing chorus of Sweaty Socks Go Home.
