Might pop over the club shop after work one day this week to get a home and away top. Can you park outside the shop on a non match day?
I’m surprised by that mate. What’s to stop me parking there all day on a non-matchday and spending the day shopping (unlikely I know) in the city centre?
Apparently the new 8 second rule is coming in at the start of next season. Keepers infringing the rule will concede a corner kick. Refs will hold up a hand after 3 seconds to count the time down using his fingers as a warning to keepers. Will stop keeper flopping to the ground after catching the ball in the last ten minutes to waste time. Not sure it'll work as Refs ignore the current 6 second rule which has been in for ages.
I was under the misguided opinion they already had a rule, 10 seconds or so since the late 90s or early 2000's. Or did they just forget about that one?
Regis Le Bris on Sunderland's Romaine Mundle & Tommy Watson https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/s...bris-sunderlands-romaine-mundle-tommy-watson/ SUNDERLAND will soon have both Romaine Mundle and Tommy Watson fit and available for the first time in almost four months - but Regis Le Bris admits he doesn't know if he can play the pair together.... "I don't know," he admitted. "It's hard to say as it's not something we have had [the option to do] before. I think because they have been injured, and because we need strong and dynamic wingers for our game model, I think to start we can play with one and then finish with the other one [off the bench]. "I think this will be a good start and then after that, we will see." Patrick Roberts is the first choice on the right side of the attack, while Chris Rigg has also played there on occasions this season. Both Mundle and Watson could potentially switch flanks but Le Bris knows they're at their best on the left. He said: "I think that it is possible that they could play on the right, but their main position is on the left and I think this is how we will manage it [to start]." It's not just on the flanks where Le Bris has some difficult decisions to make in the run-in. With Alan Browne now fit again and Salis Abdul Samed up to speed, the Frenchman has a stack of options in central midfield. But when it comes to naming his strongest team, there's no doubt Dan Neil plays at No.6. In the past, he'd preferred to play in a more advanced box-to-box role, but he's excelled in the deeper midfield position this term. Le Bris said: "He has evolved a lot during this season. It was a new position for him and the first games, it was about understanding the role and he probably wasn't able to really express the individual qualities that he has. Now he can connect both. "He is really connected with the gameplan and you can see that he is able in real time to manage different situations for the team. At the same, he can now express his qualities as a player. This is a very good combination for us."
How many points has it cost us not having these lads down the left wing ?I We've had our share of frustrating injuries again this season.
