Just noticed this as well, what a cracking and rare local derby this is ... Bristol Rovers v Weston-super-Mare
Just read this report in the Echo. I wasn’t aware what LB said about the club in 2021, but the subtext is the fans have to accept mediocrity. Actually no Liam we don’t. It speaks volumes about you that you thought being an average player was acceptable. You, like a lot of other players at our great club back then, shouldn’t have been anywhere near pulling on a Sunderland jersey. That you and others like you did is a source of embarrassment for us as supporters. At least now we have a group of players who, in the main, see it as a privilege. https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...-after-taking-cats-fans-swipe-in-2021-4824773
Man City solicitors have dropped them as their client because they have a more important job. The world conker champion has been accused of cheating by using a steel conker .
Wasn't sure where to post this but I posted it on twitter and I think it could make some good discussion here. Let's have a discussion... say we go up, who do you think gets a shot/steps up to the PL in the current XI? My feeling is the back 4 will be a mix of 'deserves a shot' & 'will step up' but then for the rest I think maybe Jobe, Rigg, Mundle & Roberts could step up?
Taken this from the documentary 4 Kings on Primw about Bruno, Benn, Eubank and Lewis, little lad in a Sunderland top getting a picture taken with Frank Bruno in 1995 yellow top - one of my favourites
Absolutely no need to make those comments at all. But, what he doesn't realise, he's actually saying that squad weren't 'man enough' to handle playing in front of big crowds. The fact we now have a bunch of fearless teenagers probably doesn't register with him.
Whether you're a fan of Bruce or not, this must be a heart breaking time for him and his family. My deepest condolences go out to them all
Just watching a piece about Fulham on Bloomberg. They are getting a hotel and rooftop pool (heated ofc) built into the stadium.
