More interference by a European court ? Again I would say that just because a court makes a ruling, it doesn’t mean that that is for the best or the ‘right’ thing. Courts look at things very specifically and not ‘in the round’ which is why their decisions often go against what is best for the majority. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67783970 And it didn’t take long for the ESL backers to jump in did it ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67787981
I'm in two minds about this story. Anything that puts the wind up FIFA, UEFA and the Premier League is automatically good by me I don't mind courts making rulings either. Big part of why they exist to my mind. (I liked the Colorado Court's decision about Trump). I say let the big 6 traitors go off and join a Super League if they want. Even most of their own fans will disown them. We'll have AFC versions coming up through the leagues and a chance for new teams to dominate. Because the traitors will leave the Prem. So go to it Gentlemen
I agree UEFA and FIFA need a kick up the backside. But I fear that if all the ‘big’ clubs leave the Prem, then there will be a huge reduction in the revenue created which will mean less money going into the leagues, including at our level. Maybe it’s what is needed - a major reset to how football works, but I just think the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. Let’s see where we are next summer….
The latest nonsense coming out of A22 is that all Super League games will be free to watch on TV They obviously think fans were born yesterday I reckon Man City will be first to break ranks and join Real and Barca. Thus underlining that City have no class.
City face a heavy sanction when their case comes about eventually. Everton got a 10-point ban after pleading guilty to one charge, City have over 100. It won't be for a couple of years by the time their army of lawyers have ploughed through the evidence, but if they do scuttle off to the superleague how will their sanction be applied? Will they be under different jurisdiction?
On SSN they were going on about "they weren't his players" etc. And they should give him the rest of the season... They may not have been Rooney's players - but Brum were in the play-off places when Rooney came in. So they can't be that bad. Of course, Charlton were in the play-off places when Parky got the sack if I recall correctly. (or maybe we had just dropped out of them) SCP got more time than Rooney after a bad end of season (2011) and next season we were Championes Ole Ole Ole But I still wonder sometimes where we would be now if Parky was still our gaffer... On Disney Plus maybe
His wages are probably too high so hopefully we won't invite him. But his record is absolutely mediocre. So he may yet turn up in SE7. Gulp.
Jordan Henderson is tired of Saudi Arabia The weather is too hot and the standard of football is crap he says And he wants to go to the 2024 European Championships. Henderson has officially taken over from Gary Neville as English Football's principle Twat
I’m talking about a wee person that’s deserted the sinking ship and left The British Isles , now let me think who could that be ??
