The FA is right not to display Israel's colours in the Friendly against Oz. Accusations of double standards are wrong, Ukraine didn't embark on an indiscriminate bombing campaign against Russian civilians. They are also right to allow only the flags of England and Australia to be displayed.
Our away game against Derby County is off I assume? We are racking up some away fixtures. Our next game as far as I know is Reading at the Valley on Saturday October 21st. That'll be 4 home games in a row in all competitions...
So Scotland qualify for the Euros. All I hope is that we bring something positive to the occasion, and turn up at the big games when it matters.

Borrowed one one night I spent in La Boca, the red light district of Buenos Aires. Got back to the hotel at 6 o'clock had breakfast at the cafe and went to bed. AllyMac said we were going to win the cup so we all had money for travelling in the last 2 weeks, and when we crashed out after 2 weeks it left us with a lot of dosh to burn. Sobering up afterwards wasn't easy.

All joking aside, the sweaties are alright, and have always enjoyed trips up there. In '92 I went to Sweden for the Euros. We were in Gothenburg station waiting for the overnight train down to Malmö for our game against Denmark, and there were a lot of men wearing skirts wandering around. The beautiful Swedish ladies were very curious and a few men in skirts must have cleaned up

Still, beat Italy 3-1 and into the finals, so all good as far as I'm concerned. Shame we couldn't have played like that in the final against Italy two years back!
England will be going to Germany expecting to win; Scotland will be going to Germany hoping to qualify for the knockouts, and maybe not meet a top team too soon.
