My teams fitness is awful. Injuries left right and centre and half the players aren't fit enough to play on Tuesday after a Saturday game.
Not a bad win I thought. Great for JWP to get among the scorers as well Also Aaron Martins goal was a left footed volley from about 6 or 7 yards. Quality.
Matthew Le God (Anyone else who can answer this question): Right, Earlier in this thread you said that there was only three strikers in the championship that had better CA than lambert? (Please correct me if i am wrong) YOu said that one of these players was Zaha. His stats are clearly not as good as lamberts, so how has he got a better CA? SO am i right in saying that you could have a player with stats all of 5. But have his CA at 200. Would this make him a better player than someone with all stats of say 15 and a CA of only 100? Just can't get my head around having both of the ranking systems? Thanks in advance.
FFS De Ridder and Puncheon get injured in the same match. De Ridder is out for 5 months and Puncheon is out for 5 weeks
The attributes are weighted depending on a players position/role. For a certain type of striker or winger, pace and acceleration is particularly highly valued so a lot of Zaha's CA will be going towards that.
Things that only make sense in Football Manager: in my game, Gael Kakuta was with Chelsea from 2007 to 2020. He re-signed multiple times, on a fairly hefty salary. From 2011 to 2020, he started three league games, and was a substitute seventeen more times...an average of two appearances per season. Which was apparently worth 80k p/w for ten years.
Since I moaned about Lee not scoring he's become a monster! 14 goals now, including 5 against Ipswich. He's now Top Scorer, Lambo has most assists too with 12.
I dont know if your new to fm and if you are this is gonna be useless advice. But if your getting a lot of injuries try a few things like lowering training work load that can help. Also if you didnt put your players on a pre season training schedule (similar to conditioning) before the season started your match fitness and condition will be lower which will mean injuries are more likely so mabye try putting the unfit ones on condition schedule for a bit. In my first year i didnt have a pre season schedule and got bombarded with injuries but after doing one i have got hardly any for past few seasons.
I sacked Crosby, got Panarby. His judging talent etc are both 20 and he sets up a far better range of friendlies. Starts of with the lesser teams then builds you up as it gets closer to the new season.
I always pick my friendlies myself, my assistant is Issot of Crystal Palace youth team, but I have kept him since League 2, I like him as the assistant.
