Solid start to my second season in the prem, 5th after 10 games, hoping for a high mid-table finish. Iago is tearing the league apart.
**** it I'm gunna start again!!!! I created a new manager after retiring after getting the sack. I have lost the first two game with my new mark 2 manager. Lost to leicester first 4-1. then Crystal palace 1-0 who where in the bottom 3. now down to 16 in the league when only a couple of weeks ago i was top. He hasn't been that great for me, only 2 goals up to I think (now in January). Been playing him in midfield though so that might be why, he mostly comes off the bench for me now.
Don't play butterfield. Especially not as a deep lying play maker. Don't play Lambert as a trequartista, I don't usually play him but try him as a target man and Rodriguez as an advanced forward. Set your philosophy to rigid as opposed to fluid to tighten your team up, fluid works better with better players who have played together for a while. When playing away games don't set your strategy as attacking, try standard or counter. Play a 4-1-2-2-1 with Rodriguez upfront on his own, Lallana on the left as an advanced playmaker and set his personal instructions to "roam from position" and "cut inside" and "run with ball" often.
I play him upfront (STCR) as a trequartista, set him to cut inside and you'll see a marked improvement.
I also don't understand why my laptops performance has gone down to 2.5 stars. When the game first came out it was 5 star. I have a macbook pro please log in to view this image why has it gone down?
Agree about Butterfield, he's not great on the game and he was poor for me when I signed him for Stoke. I disagree about Lambert though - he's done very well for me as a trequartista and my assistant agrees that it's his best role. Rodriguez would actually work a lot better as target man, but I'd use him as a poacher for one very important reason: a poacher+trequartista combination is more suited to a short-passing style than any other combination. I can't stress this enough.
Processor's not exactly fantastic, but then again mine's no better and my performance is 4.5 stars I think. Make sure you don't have loads of stuff running in the background, and maybe just do a bit of a clear out. Also, I know this is far from helpful but I can't stress enough how useful it is to have a PC which you can modify and upgrade cheaply. I don't have many nice things to say about Apple.
I just played one more game as Gills, Notts forest who were 22nd and me 10th LOL and I go and lose 4-1, how bad is that, the goal come by my sub Jake Sinclair with his first goal for the club which is good.
