He starts out on loan to Bristol City, must be there then. Dont really follow their team so i dont know whether he has been playing or not.

A number of people in this thread have misunderstood what the star system for potential means. It is relative to the rest of the Saints squad, not the rest of the football world.
The accounts for DMWSL 613 Limited from earlier this year show £20.4m in new loans from the shareholder. I made it a non-repayable gift ( until shown to be otherwise) so it doesn't make a lot of difference.
As you're online MLG - can I ask why Lallana's value is so low when compared to some players like Jake Taylor (Reading) and Jake Sinclair (Saints U18's) who have made one first team appearances between them for their respective clubs? Ta.
I don't know the full ins and outs of what determines the values. At a guess it might be because Sinclair is 7 years younger than Lallana and the game is taking into account his potential. In any case the values are pretty much meaningless as clubs will bid more than that for Lallana and the AI when in charge of Saints won't sell him for that. Lallana has a very good CA and PA in FM12.
I wouldn't say it's meaningless. On my current FM11 game I'm managing Real Oviedo and have got them promoted to the Segunda. My Strikers last season were Agustin Torassa and Davide Petrucci and they scored 44 goals and 25 goals in the league respectively. Both though are valued at around 100k and my chairman accepted a bid of 150k for Petrucci from a La Liga side and now he's gone. If I had it my way I wouldn't have sold him for less than a million.
Not as far as I'm aware. I just did a check with the Saints squad and the CA/PA star ratings Andy Crosby gives them with remains exactly the same with "top half finish" or "win the league".
Ah okay. Could it just be relative to the rest of the league then? It doesn't make sense to just be relative to the rest of the team, as that doesn't explain why the ratings go down when you get promoted.
