I only have one of the original Gillingham players now and I am in the second season, there is a few out on loan but in my first team I only have Jack Payne who is a great player. I still have Whelpdale, Lee and Gazzaniga but they are all out on loan, Whelpdale at Sheffield Wednesday and Charlie Lee is at Soton, they are both gone for the season with the view for the clubs to sign them permanent, Gazzaniga is at Kettering on loan aswell.
I just don't like the form drops that I have no control over. Always last a month or 2 at around March/April which costs me the League title and usually a European and national cup of some sorts.
Yeah I have a little drop around Mid season Christmas time and then one in March and April, has cost me the season before and in the past my job but I have kept it under control on FM12 so I am happy.
If it become less detrimental to the season then I may be tempted to get FM12. FM11 seemed too scripted to me.
I do the one that says don't let your heads drop. do it as a calm thing and players lose morale and some back saying i think we have played quite well. sorry we have just lost 3 on the trot you twat!!!
I just won 7-0 now that is what you call a game, 10,000 fans at home to see me play Hartlepool who are good at the moment and we trash them, get in. I have just signed Jeffrey Schlupp on a permanent deal, was a risk as I had him on loan in League 2 last season and he only played a few times for me and failed to score, but I have faith, he has just played his first game and got a goal, I am happy I also signed Simeon Jackson back as he is doing well and I have also just got Vokes who has only played 20 minutes as a sub, think he got an assist, I have Brandy aswell but he has not done that well yet, may not have been the best signing considering I want to get into the Championship as he don't get loads of goals. So this window I so far have Marvin Sordell, Sam Vokes, Simeon Jackson, Jeffrey Schlupp and Febian Brandy for the attack. Stephen McGinn for the midfield Mark O'Brien and John Dunleavy for Central defence. So I think I have done well, don't look like I will get anyone else as I am far into the 31st January now and I have spent a bit but saying that I have sold a few and made most of the money back enough to pay for all 8 of these.
Yeah they can be dicks, I hate meeting sometimes as I say that to them we have been playing well and then 10 of them are in the red bar and then the captain speaks and says yes he agrees and a player says back to him you always talk and I don't agree, arguing twats.
not a bad squad they just aren't playing well. and i can get them to play well. i have been through bad patches before on other saves and have managed to come out of them with good morale but the team just only respond badly to my team talks. last game i gave dean wilkins a go with it and they even reacted badly to his.
I am now in February, did not lose any of my best players luckily as I don't want to damage my chances, I got a few players in the last hours of the transfer window, just back ups, Clayton from Crewe and also Nick Powell from Crewe, good players with potential. I also got Cody McDonald on loan, I have loads of strikers but he had no wage contribution needed and also he is struggling so I wanted to help him out. Also managed to get Dicko from Wigan, good Striker who used to play for Strasbourg.
Including my youth players and reserve side 100 but over 15 are out on loan and there is a few on the transfer list, I think 40 must be on 50pw as they are around 18.
When I sold Nelson to Tottenham it said he is dubbed the new Jonathan Woodgate, I hope they don't mean by injuries.
Just got promotion to PL, signed Wickham, Sturridge (Free), Junior Hoilett, Corluka. Hoilett is brilliant. A goal and 2 assists on his debut!
Sturridge is great I see that he left Chelsea when I played at Dartford and he went to Tottenham then, on fm at the moment he is on loan at Newcastle but he also signed a new contract.
I can do no wrong with the morale of my Parma team now. My first three fixtures for the new season were Roma, Inter and AC Milan, and I only got 1 point from those games. Still, my whole team has superb morale, bar one or two players who have very good morale. Dedicate enough time to team talks and meetings, and after a while the whole team will conform to your way of thinking.
