I've seen some awesome comebacks in my time as Parma manager. It seems like team talks play quite a big part in this. My best ever comeback though was in the playoff final in the Liga Adelante with Real Oviedo against Mallorca. I lost the home leg 4-1 and thought it was surely over. To make things worse, Mallorca scored in the first minute of the away leg to make it 5-1. Somehow, I managed to inspire my team to score SIX GOALS to win 7-5 on aggregate. Anyone else got some insane comeback stories?

I've avoided going as Saints on the past two FMs as on FM10 I had the most epic save possible with them, I don't think I wil ever have a better one.

I'm Basingstoke on this one, and I've had some amazing achievements. Won the FA Cup in whilst in League Two, then got to the final again the following year and again in my first Prem season, losing to Arsenal both times by a 1-0 scoreline. I finished 4th in the Prem last year, currently adding some outstanding youngsters to my squad - I always buy youth on FM, rarely anyone older than 20 - including a fantastic RB who came through at Crewe in the Conference Premier; he has the potential to be better than Sergio Ramos :emoticon-0104-surpr Got him for £300k, looking forward to developing him.

For the record, Steve Cotterill is currently in charge of Saints, and they've had the following managers since the game began:

    Nigel Adkins - Sacked
Gordon Strachan - Left for West Ham
Mike Phelan - Left for Norwich
    Malky Mackay - Sacked
    Olexiy Mikhailchenko - Sacked
Steve Cotterill - Current, just lost of Championship play-off semi-final.

Lallana went to Rangers and is a fringe player there now (2017), Schniederlin went to Leicester, then Real Sociedad, then onto Saint-Etienne where he still is. I want to go and save them but Basingstoke will crash down the leagues if I leave...

Puncheon sold for £1000! I like it! I started again with Saints as well. Bought Sharp and Rhodes and Lamberts on fire - top scorer in Championship. Also bought this winger Davide Di Gennaro on a free from AC Milan - doing well for me.

Yeah, I made the mistake of setting my assistant to renew reserve and youth contracts so he offered Punch a new deal why he was out on loan, paying him 19k a week! So nobody was interested when he came back so I just offered him out for 1k and only Leeds were interested. Still have to pay him 3k a week til the end of his contract though :/

Offer the fees over 48 months, lets you spend about 4 times your budget, but if you don't bring success in can bankrupt you very quickly

I used to do that on like FM09. Bankrupts you quickly whatever happens especially when you end up spending £20m on Premiership quality players, drains your bank account. I haven't done it since then, considering how much it messed up my team. I just generally sign fewer players these days :D

i think my team are determined not to get promoted. currently in steak that sees me win 2 out of 6 games and lose the rest. players just don't get up for the games ever. i tried warning and talking to them but its not working. currently sat just outside the play offs.

Oh dear! That happened in my first season with Saints, didn't win a game in 8 and dropped out of playoffs - really frustrating, know how you feel!

Good to see one of you have Curtis Nelson and also one of you have Jordan Rhodes.
How are they doing for you both?

Rhodes has 5 goals in 14 appearances. He starts on the bench for me at the moment because Lambert and Sharp are on fire. I bought him because he has the potential to be a good premier league player, according to one of my scouts.

I'm in 2018 right now and just knocked out of Champs League in group stage with Saints (despite beating Juve twice and getting 12 points) - have Wagner Love and a young Argentinian called Adrian Moreira up front (the new Crespo). The future's bright. Only Lallana really still there from originals - 18 caps and 7 goals for him now.

Thank you for deciding for me. Won't get this game as I got sick of this happening constantly in FM11 costing me many premiership titles.

How much he cost you and that is strange as I sent him on loan from Gillingham to Soton with a view of them signing him permanent. They are still in the Championship and he has been on the bench mainly and some times he misses out but he has like 6 goals in 11 games so he is good,

Still get it as it goes by what you do, over the last few years I have learnt a lot, three years ago I would be sacked as I was not that good, I would have teams near the bottom of the League, I believe anyone who puts enough effort in will do well in the long run.
