My transfer budget for this coming season has been set at £20m, and I intend to spend it! But I have decided that this season I only want to sign players who are described as having a fairly professional, professional, model professional or leader personality. So far my scout reports have identified Liam Trotter, Tomas Necid and Shaun Barker as viable targets. Anyone know any others?

Even odder when you consider he's made the effort to get the badges!

Haha, I don't like any of the skins I've tried so far. All of them seem to have something which bugs me.

The three I've used are Steklo, R and Fahrenheit, on Fahrenheit at the moment

Do any of those change the colours of the attributes? That's the one thing that really bugs me.

You can customise those no matter which skin you're on.

Is that it? What did you set your season expectations to?

Mid-table finish. I think the board just thought I shouldn't need any more than that.

Just put together a nice little winning run after gaining some confidence from inexplicably slapping Man United 3-0. Currently fourth after 13 games.

Oh ****ing hell... Watford are officially my bogey team. Always lose or draw (the latter if I'm lucky) to them. Bastards.

Does anyone else notice after doing really well with a team for a few years, one season your team will suddenly look really disjointed and not perform anywhere near their best?

I thought there was something about playing the same formation for a long period of time in the newer games where the other clubs adjust their tactics to play against you? I have had a few games where the first few seasons are a great success and then suddenly with the same team nothing goes right, might just be that I'm a bit rubbish at it though :p

Yeah I've heard that I tried a new tactic, I'm still doing relatively well but I'm scraping past teams I usually beat with ease. I'm just going have to stick with it I guess.

I've not changed formation once in my 15+ year career and I'm winning trophies every season. Had one crap year though, had won the league the season before, then the next year struggled into 4th, only very slightly above 5th.

An interesting read about Sports Interactive's spilt from Eidos/Championship Manager to move to SEGA and start Football Manager in 2004, something not discussed before for legal reasons...

    http://www.edge-online.com/news/miles-jacobson-comments-eidos-split

Also the first bit of news about FM13...

"Sports Interactive will unveil the latest iteration of Football Manager in the autumn, which Jacobson says will feature “less conservative” design than in the past."

Yes, with saints I have players capable of winning the champions league and indeed I qualified last year but this season I'm struggling to stay in the top 8! If you find out why please do tell me!
