Most I had him scoring was 21. Target man support/attack (doesn't really matter) next to Sharp and they both score bucket loads.

 

I just couldn't bear to mutilate the Saints squad like that.

This is what I did last time, and I think he scored around 15. Was very poor in the Premier League though. I've been considering trequartista, advanced forward and deep-lying forward as he has most of the right attributes for those roles as well.

 

Try to see how far you can get signing nobody, just to **** off Hoadie. See how well you do after a season in the Prem on 0 signings (assuming you go up)

 

I have a save in February 2012 where I'm 2nd in the Championship so I'll just start from there. I know it's sort of a cheat but the first season in the Championship just bores me so much. I've tried doing the Premier League without signing anyone, but the defense just falls apart. It's so difficult to stay up.

 

I, too, have started again, and need a Right Winger. Snodgrass just signed a new contract and Blackpool want £20.6 Million for Phillips. Anyone have any suggestions?

I can only scout him as a striker, is he good as a winger? and they want £9.25 Mill for him, is he worth it?

 

He was my backup winger who played there quite a lot (played him up front mainly) and he was very good, 9.25m maybe not... what season and how much do you need the money?

 

First season, and I only really need a winger so I could spend it if I need to.

 

Guly is normally good enough, depends if you're playing AMR or MR though. Nathan Redmond?

 

Jakub Blaszczykowski is often cheap.

 

I never really signed many wingers, used Falque (with Zaha up front, covering RW when he was needed) until Chamberlain went on the transfer list. If you're not going to spend the money then might as well, you'll probably want to train him quite intensively though

 

Made an offer for Snodgrass for £7.25 Mill, £22.5 Grand a week, worth it?

 

Reasonable wage, hefty fee.

 

Not in the Championship. Puncheon did fine for me.

Wait until you're in the Prem, then you'll have more options to go for.

 

Wage wise, yeah, fee wise, probably paying a little over the odds.

Yeah that's ridiculous. To be honest, I'd side with the others who say you don't need to buy anyone in your first season.
