1 transfer in the first season with a couple of loans, then about 3 or 4 when I went up, and another few for Season 2 in the Prem. Not excessive I reckon, especially considering the majority of them have had bids from other clubs with mega profits. Oddly enough they don't want to leave...

 

The main reason I wanted Hoadie's transfer screen is to see how much he actually spent of his £10m budget. See if it was suspiciously aruond £70m

 

Yeah I know. It's weird, his transfers weren't even that good...

Ah well, Coates now says he wants to leave after I rejected a bid from Real Madrid. I told him the bid wasn't good enough, he got angry, so I couldn't care less. At this rate I stand to make a £10m profit on him in 6 months.

Do you mean Quintero? Such a good player. Got him for Jaguares a few pages back and he is sensational.

 

That's it brought him of Leicester the other day for 1.2 mil, just wondered how good he was.

 

1.2 mil is a total bargain.

 

Get them in the champions league I was losing **** tons monthly but once I got saints in the champions league we went from "okay" to "rich" and cortese loves me!

 

Thing is, I'm making profit each month. Admittedly it's only a few hundred thousand a month, but still....

just a quick question: what formation do you guys play? i normally play 4-2-4 first season (2 ST 2 Wingers), and then 4-2-3-1 from then on. just wondered if anyone has a better formation?

 

I've stuck with 4-2-2-2 (2 CM, 2 wide AMs) from the start because my tactics suit it, I buy players for the tactic rather than making a tactic to suit the players.

 

Yeah, I play 4-2-2-2 with two CMs and two wingers. Best formation for the original players, too.

 

Anyone got any suggestions on who to be on a new save?

Only really been Saints on this one and have had 3 longish term games with them (give up when I win the Prem usually), so want a new challenge.

 

What I do when I'm bored is I load a few random leagues and then use pick a team for me, I think it sounds like a challenge.

Right, I'm starting again (again) as Saints and I really want to get more out of Lambert. Anyone had him score 20+ goals in the Championship?
