Cesar Delgado was an awesome striker for a while at Cruz Azul. Then suddenly he was a winger, and a ****e one at that, playing for Lyon.

I wasn't even aware that many people knew of Millan, my bad - scout recommendation when I played Colo Colo.

Just searched for him online, 16 career apps and 2 goals. 3 games and 4 goals for Chile U17's.

    Genoa transfers (summer fourth season)
    Jackson Martinez (2.7m)
    Rasmus Elm (free agent)
    Fabio Borini (6m)
    Brede Hangeland (4.5m)
    Sebastian Giovinco (8m)
It's going OK, in 6th but we have been poor. Would get Yarmolenko back, but he is storming the Prem.

    What's going on?

I took over in late December with Crewe 22nd. Got a couple of young lads on loan from Swansea - Casey Thomas and Joe Walsh.

Casey Thomas got injured for 6 weeks on his debut, he scored and then twisted his ankle.

Also stuck Cristian Baz on a deal until the end of the season, and brought in Jordan Chappell from Sheffield United on a free, he's highly rated.

My team is: Phillips; Tootle, Artell, Davis, Walsh; Moore, Westwood, Bell, Powell; Baz, Leitch-Smith.

Chappell unable to get in right now, Byron Moore is on fire. Up to 17th so far by February 9th.

I remember Karl Noon from FM05, Liverpool youth product. Used to always turn out amazing, no idea where he's at now.

Just signed for Marine FC from Colwyn Bay. Marine play in the "Northern Premier League Premier Division".

How many leagues have you got loaded? Also what size database are you using? If you're still having troubles with overheating then remove a few leagues and use a smaller DB.

Taken a break from football manager and tried out "civilisation 5" anyone played or know of it or any of its predecessors? Not sure if I like it yet and would very much like some other opinions.

Only England - PL to BSN/BSS. Medium size.

I Googled the Noon thing if that's what you were wondering!

Good game, it takes a while to really understand it though. As the game progresses you will get more and more into it.

Yeah it's very time consuming just for even the one "game" as it were.

I have done the same, got a bit bored of playing it every day, gone back to the PS3 for a bit, something I don't normally do, also I have a History exam next week which I have to go in for so a bit of revision would help, also got to revise a little bit for a Geography exam, then I never have to go into School again, it is good I only have to spend just over 2 hours in school .

Does talking the opposing manager down when talking to the press pre-match do anything? Or does me doing it achieve nothing apart from a wee chuckle?

I love the Civ series; been playing it on and off since I was quite young. Personally, I prefer Civ IV; it's very much the 'classic' Civilization, whereas Civ V was overhauled in some areas, and it's extremely addictive.

Managed to finish 12th. About half the squad were released at the end of their deals.

After a rehaul, we're good to go:

    Ole Soldeberg

    Kevin Long (loan from Burnley)
Tom Naylor (loan from Derby County)
    Harry Davis
    Matt Tootle

    Jordan Chappell
    Joe McKee (loan from Burnley)
    Nicky Wroe
    Nick Powell

    David Ball
    Leigh Griffiths (loan from Wolves)

And my bench is: Scott Shearer, Adam Dugdale, Ashley Westwood, Byron Moore, Ajay Leitch-Smith.
