My Saints team at the moment (season 2013/14) Forster. Naughton. Yobo. Munoz. Kadlec. Pedro. Cork. Thiago Gomes. Lallana. Falk. Vossen. Won the championship then finished 7th first season in the prem, now currently 4th in mid Feb. Munoz is a quality young defender (22) got him for 5 mil from Palmero. Also Falk develops into a really good player. Thiago Gomes was a bargain at 1.5 mil and is amazing at long shots. Somehow signed Pedro from Barca aswell! Running at an average profit of about 2 million a month too
Have £44million for spending and £191,000 spare wages. Can be adjusted too. That was on my expectations where I said champions league qualification again. I think I might be challenging for the tittle if it goes well though.

Tbf it is pretty easily doable, I'm in my 6th season and have won the Premiership, Europa League twice, FA Cup 2 or 3 times, League Cup 2 or 3 times. Only got to the semis of the Champs League so far though. Had huge budgets the last 3 seasons aswell (since initial champs league qualification) over 40 mil each time even though I don;t need it really.
yeah sure.. signings??/ whenever i am saints sometimes i get promoted sometimes not. my team will be doing quite well like they where in my current save then boom a brick wall can find a win anywhere. when i do have a good season and get promoted they lose and then they just can win even against teams like wigan and swansea and norwich (no disrespect). even if i make good signings they just fail. what am i doing wrong then. how are you getting so much money?
You get money from doing well in competitions, keeping the wage budget super low, trying not to put appearence fees in contracts and getting rid of dead wood. Thats what I do and it works everytime.
yes but then how do you do so well in the comps without the players. say in the first season as saints you get 5m plus your wage bill who do you buy. how do you make sure they do well??
I got Jay Rodriguaz. Put him on the left side of attack as a Target man attack and scored 20 odd goals in the league 1st season in the championship and then 35 the next season in the championship (the year i went up) He was up front with Billy Sharp the 2nd year (Right striker on poacher) Try it. They were unstoppable, even in the premier league the year after they were still scoring !
The only players I still have from the start are Lallana and Cork who are both England internationals now getting screenies for you now, what do you want? signings every season? trophies?
Back up the 2nd and 3rd seasons. Fell off the bench in 4th season and then i let him go to get first team football. He's now a coach. Yeah everyone always gets trouble over the xmas period. Just try and rotate your squad a bit better either before or during the bits where games are pretty tight.
yeah ok. i get annoyed when i am doing well hit this period. play chaplow and say harding for fox and cork then the team goes tits up even if i have given them a few games early on in the season. Chaplow isn't as good on the game as he is in real life. Neither is martin, frazer .
Shame about the under ratings i know. You should have seen me crash and burn from christmas until April in my 1st season. I was unbeaten until at the top until christmas i think then my team went awol.
